Hi Jay Hodny, I believe I understand your question, but to further clarify ... would you be able to provide the application that you're talking about? By the way, the only way that I'd be able to look at your application is if the Web Map/Application (and it's associated layers) are all shared publicly. When it comes to rearranging pop-ups, you're able to do so by: Clicking on the "More Options" of the layer and selecting "Configure Pop-up". Here, you can click on "Configure Attributes". In this interface, you're able to move fields up/down as well as make some visible or invisible. If this doesn't answer your question, looking at your application will be very helpful! Cheers, Joe

Hi Matthew McCloskey, I ran a quick test, and I was able to figure out how to delete an image from the Story Map Series. First things first, is the image itself embedded in the text box on the left-hand side? If this is the case, you can click right on the image to "highlight" it. Once the image is selected, all you have to do is press "Delete" on your keyboard to get rid of the image. You'll know when the image is selected when you see the little black box in the bottom right-hand corner of the image. I've attached a photo illustrating what I'm talking about. If you have any other questions, feel free to reach out! Cheers, Joe

Wayne, Thank you for that image! I now understand the task that you're trying to complete. So I can try to work on this issue, how did you go about creating the oval? I'd like to reproduce your workflow to see if there is a way to copy both the image and the text! I look forward to your response. Joe

Jay, Thank you for the screenshot and additional information! What type of "layer" is this? Is this a Hosted Feature Service? Was all of the above information (Compressed Air, Chilled Water, Electric Distribution, Electric Lighting) published together from either ArcMap or ArcGIS Pro? Also, it looks as if the layer is grouped together. Perhaps that's why you're only able to click More Options on the top-most layer. I did a quick run through of ArcGIS Online Health and there doesn't appear to be any disturbances or issues with ArcGIS Online at the moment. I look forward to your response. Joe

Hello Jamal NUMAN According to this documentation (Previewing your map—Help | ArcGIS for Desktop 😞 "The Time field on the top menu bar shows display performance in seconds as you pan, zoom, and navigate around your map. The time reported represents the amount of time it takes for the server to draw a map image covering the full window area. This will help you obtain a better understanding of how your map will perform and respond when accessed through a client application." I hope this answers your question! Feel free to reach out if you have additional/follow up questions. Cheers, Joe

Hello Geisen, Jay, I just tried to access the "More Options" menu within my Web Map and did not have any issue seeing the pop-up. What browser are you using? Is this behavior displayed across all of your browsers? To me, this sounds like it might be a caching issue. Perhaps you might clear your browser cache, refresh the web page and see if you're able to access the "More Options" pop-up. Cheers, Joe

HelloPatrick, The information that Stephen provided above is correct. If you wish to publish to a server (not hosted by Esri) with ArcGIS Pro, you'll need to use Portal for ArcGIS. During the installation/configuration process of Enterprise for ArcGIS, you'll federate an ArcGIS Server with a Portal for ArcGIS. This will allow you to publish to a server that's not hosted by Esri. If you wish to publish directly from ArcGIS Pro to ArcGIS Server, that functionality should be provided with the release of ArcGIS Pro 2.3. With that being said, this functionality will be via Python scripting only. Come ArcGIS Pro 2.4, the plan is to have UI implemented where you can publish from ArcGIS Pro directly to ArcGIS Server without the use of Python scripting. As always, if you're still using ArcGIS Desktop, you can utilize ArcMap to publish services directly to ArcGIS Server. I hope this information finds you well. Cheers, Joe

Hi Wayne Tinlin, Are you interested in copying text, or are you interested in copying layers? If you're interested in copying text, I'd need a little more information on what specific types of text. If you're interested in copying layers, you can do so within ArcGIS Online Map Viewer. Within the Map Viewer, select "Details" located towards the top left corner (under "Home"). Select "Content" to display the various layers you have included in the Map. On the layer you wish to copy, select "..." (located to the right of the layer), then select "Copy". You'll notice a duplicate of your layer appear in the Content, followed by " - copy". I hope this information helps. Cheers, Joe

Hi Katherine Padilla! Sorry to hear that the Update Definition didn't make a difference for you. There are two possible avenues that come to mind: Reorder the fields in ArcMap or ArcGIS Pro, then republish the service to ArcGIS Online. Utilize ArcGIS Online Assistant to physically rearrange the JSON to your liking. While I've used ArcGIS Online Assistant before, I haven't actually used it for this specific purpose. If you do want to go this route, I'd recommend making a copy of your service before you make any edits, just in case there are issues with the service afterwards. If you'd like more information on how to try and rearrange the JSON via ArcGIS Online Assistant, let me know! Cheers, Joe

Lisa, After looking at your Excel spreadsheet, I was able to determine the issue at hand. According to our documentation (https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/help/data/excel/work-with-excel-in-arcgis-pro.htm#GUID-E4C38438-93DC-472A-9A36-0A64E48FF16B), "field names must start with a letter". I noticed that one specific field started with the number 30, followed by a few words. I simply changed the "30" to "Thirty", saved the document and refreshed my folder connection in ArcGIS Pro. After refreshing, I was able to click on the .xlsx file and see the underlying spreadsheet, which I could add to ArcGIS Pro. I hope this helps! Joe

Lisa, Thank you for the additional information! I'm not too sure why this is occurring, I'd need to dig around to see if I'm able to find a solution as to why you can't add the spreadsheet directly to ArcGIS Pro. Would it be possible for you to send me the excel spreadsheet, or is the data secure? I can give you my email if you wish to send the data. If you're unable to send the data, or wish to try a different approach, I'd be interested to see if you're able to run the tool Excel to Table. Here is some documentation on that GP tool: Excel To Table—Conversion toolbox | ArcGIS Desktop. Excel to Table will effectively turn your excel spreadsheet into a table that can be saved in a geodatabase. Hope this helps! Joe

Hello Lisa! What file extension is the Excel Spreadsheet? ArcGIS Pro is able to support Excel 2003 and earlier .xls as well as Excel 2007 .xlsx files. You also might want to confirm that the spreadsheet is formatted correctly for use in ArcGIS Pro. Here is a link to some documentation with more in depth explanation: Work with Microsoft Excel files in ArcGIS Pro—Excel | ArcGIS Desktop. If you're able to, can you provide a screenshot of the missing file in the Catalog pane? Cheers, Joe

Hi Chris! As Shantonu suggested, HTML is a good way to play around with Pop-Up structure! I would also recommend looking into Arcade Expressions as a way to further customize your Pop-Ups. Personally, I don't have much experience with these types of expressions, but here are two links you can reference if you're interested. Reference Arcade expressions in PopupTemplate | ArcGIS API for JavaScript 4.8 ArcGIS Arcade | ArcGIS for Developers After reading your post, I ran a quick test. If you're interested in getting rid of that black line in the Pop-up, or if you're interested in increasing the size of the title, something you can do is delete the Pop-up Title as a whole and work strictly with the body of the Pop-up. Deleting the title will remove the black line separating title from body and you can then configure the body of the Pop-up to look as you wish. Refer to my screenshot as an example. Best of luck! Joe

Hi George! I apologize for the late response, however I just stumbled upon your post and decided to download the attached CSV. I initially thought the problem was that you only specified the City field and not the State field, but through my tests I was able to successfully create the hosted feature layer specifying only city and specifying both city and state. I'm not sure why you're running into this issue. Here is workflow #1: Login to ArcGIS Online and select the Map tab. Click 'Add' towards the top left, then select 'Add Layer from File'. Choose the Top_50_US_Cities.csv file and select 'Import Layer'. Leave all items as default, select 'Add Layer' and you'll see the points added to the map. I also tried this another way, here is workflow #2: Login to ArcGIS Online and select the Content tab. Click 'Add Item' towards the top left, then select 'From my computer'. Choose the Top_50_US_Cities.csv file. Leave all items as default, select 'Add Item'. You'll see the item be added to your content. I've provided a screenshot (from workflow #1) of the default values that I used. Let me know if you're still running into this issue, or perhaps if you're geocoding a different way and I'll take a deeper look! Cheers, Joe
