I'd like to add my endorsement to this idea. It seems like the default is to list them by name, alphabetically. Being able to drag them into a specific order (ideally) or, at the least, being able to apply the specified sorting method to Basemap widgets in Experience Builder apps would be very helpful. ... Agreed on that last point, Tiffany. The thing is, as ridiculous as it all is (and it truly is), I wish that the one that worked was at least the new one (Map Viewer). Re-ordering in it is so much quicker than the classic one. Honestly, re-ordering huge lists in the classic one is enough to make me want to cry. At least the new one allows you to see more than like five fields at once and you can just drag and drop them. I'm struggling with this too. I changed the field order back to what it should be in the Map Viewer. But then when I toggle back over to the Map Viewer Classic, it shows alphabetical order again. I can toggle back and forth between the MV and MVC and the pop up order is completely different. Unfortunately, the one that seems to get passed on to the applications is the MVC (alphabetic/wrong) order. Not sure what is going on at this point.  ... View more

Andrew, It looks like what I'm experiencing is a new bug, described here: ArcGIS Pro 2.5 Fails to Overwrite Web Layer - Staging Failed (BUG-000129031). Guess I'll be calling ESRI Tech Support........again. It seems the crux of the bug relates to how you are connecting to your SQL Server database. If you are not connecting to the data as the database owner then you will likely have problems. In my case, I connect using database authentication (a SQL database account), but not typically with the database owner account. I believe, based on the other thread listed above, that you would see the same error attempting to connect using operating system authentication, but I have not verified that. In any case, I will be uninstalling 2.5 and reinstalling 2.4 until at least the next release.  Cheers, Jay ... View more
