As an ArcGIS Online organization with over 10,000 users, our Administrators do not have the bandwidth to track what everyone is doing, nor micromanage privileges and credits. Instead we give people full access to ArcGIS Online capabilities so they can choose to do what they need to do, and we rely on credit allocations to ensure reasonable use.  A critical shortcoming of this approach, however, is that credits consumed for storage are not currently tracked by user. So a user's credit allocation does not provide a way to limit their usage of storage. Tracking storage credits per user (based on the owner of an item), and applying the current credit allocation functionality, or a new, seperate storage credit allocation functionality would be great. (Since we leave it up to our users to decide how they are going to best use resources, the former -- having a single credit allocation per user -- would be our preference.) ... View more

Some key things for our organization and our users regarding this Idea: In higher-education, ArcGIS Online content often needs to follow users from organization to organization when they graduate, accept a new position, etc. Also, there is a lot of and frequent turnover in such a user base, particular from students graduating and needing to take their content with them. A user should be able to copy content themselves between organizations, if they have accounts with appropriate privileges on both instances. Given the amount of turnover, the number of organizations involved overall, and the self-responsibility of users, it does not scale to have organization administrators handling these kinds of transfers. Copying an item that references data should also copy the referenced data, and swizzle the original item to use the new data. In other words, a user should be able to copy their content from their old organization to their new organization, delete it from the old organization, and everything should still work fine. The org part of contents' URL will have changed, breaking links provided to the original content, however, it would be the responsibility of the user to address this. ... View more

@JenMcRuer its hard to say without more information about the map and layers you are using. I would suggest starting from scratch, and building a simpler example than what your screen shots came from. It might make it easier to see where things are going wrong (or to get things right, and then add other layers and elements to the mix 🙂 For example, create a web map that has only the layer you need in it (Survey1?). Create a Dashboard and add that web map to a Map Element. Then add a Detail element to the Dashboard, and make sure you point it at the exact same data source your web map is using. Then configure your desired actions. Hopefully that produces a working Dashboard that you can compare to the one that isn't working as expected, or gives you a working base which you can continue to work on adding other content. ... @bland that does sound complicated!  With that in mind, hopefully @EarlMedina's comments about using a FeatureSet, rather than a FeatureLayer, will help you get on the right track with using edit_features. The details are always important though, so if your use case involves editing more than ~250 records, then you should consider the note in the documentation for edit_features about using append instead with edits/upsert.   ... Currently you do not specify a number of days for offline use. The number of days for which your Named User license is valid is determined by its expiration date, whether online or offline. You can check the "Expires" field on Pro's Licensing tab: You do need to be careful when checking out a Named User license for offline use near its expiration date. You won't be able to work offline once your license expires. So you'll either want to renew your license early enough to get a Named User license for the next license year, so it covers your time offline, or ensure you have a way to temporarily get online and renew it.   ...
