Hello Kirk, This is what I was able to do. It disables highlighting and popups when the 'measure-start' event is fired and then enables them when the 'measure-end' event fires. on(measurement, "measure-start", function () {
popup.popupWindow = false;
popup.highlight = false;
});
on(measurement, "measure-end", function () {
popup.popupWindow = true;
popup.highlight = true;
}); I hope this helps. Chris

Just to Update, I contacted Esri Support about this issue and a bug was created. Bug Number: 000100499 In Web AppBuilder, an extra set of ellipses appears in pop-ups when using the 'App State' feature to return to the last extent of the application before it was closed. Thanks, Chris

Hello, We have an app that was created with WAB 2.1 DE hosted on our web server. Whenever I use the "App State" box to return to my last extent on the app, this causes the ellipse (...) symbol to appear twice on the popup window for a feature. How do I get rid of the second ellipse? Thanks!

Hi all, I had this problem because the ArcGIS Server only had read permissions to it's install folders. After working with Esri Tech support we were able to give ArcGIS Server full control of its directories and then we restarted the ArcGIS Server service. (Windows Service) Everything worked fine after that. Hope this helps! Chris

Thanks Robert, I was using the "layers" array but I was not including the "Title" property. That is what I was missing. Chris

If I understand your point correctly, you can use ArcGIS Online Health Dashboard to view ArcGIS Online status. Chris

Hello all, I have been working on adding a layer to a map that is based on a CSV table. I am using v3.18 of Esri's JS API to do this. I am having an issue that when I set the "id" of the CSV layer to "Incidents" it still shows up in the layer-list as "csv". Layer: csvLayer: new CSVLayer("/csv/Incidents_test.csv", {
copyright: "Knowledge Center",
id: "Incidents",
refreshInterval: 2,
infoTemplate: kcPopup.csvPopup
}) What shows in the Layer-list widget: I am guessing that somewhere the "id" property is being overwritten. I am not sure where though. Thanks! Chris

Hello, I am attempting to create a couple of widgets. One handles navigating to the'previous' extent viewed, and one handles going to the 'next' extent that was viewed. Has anyone attempted this before? The last widget that I created worked inside a panel, these widgets will activate when clicked. Before I used the 'onopen' property but now that there is nothing to open, I am running into troubles. Thanks for any advice! Chris

Marco, Using a Google map in this way violates Google's TOS. Specifically, this part (10.4e): No use of Content with a non-Google map. You must not use the Content in a Maps API Implementation that contains a non-Google map. Link: Google Maps/Google Earth APIs Terms of Service | Google Maps APIs | Google Developers Sorry to bring bad news, hopefully Esri can work something out with Google. Thanks, Chris

Hello all, I contacted Esri support and they were able to help me with this issue. The problem was not the proxy, the reason that I was getting "Invalid URL" errors in the console was because the app was changing the URL from www.myorg.maps.arcgis.com/<orgcode>/arcgis/rest/services/<service>/FeatureServer/0 to www.myorg.maps.arcgis.com/<orgcode>/arcgis/rest/services/<service>/MapServer/0 Map services cannot be hosted on ArcGIS Online, so this was causing my error. Tech support and I looked at apps hosted on AGOL and were not able to reproduce this error. This seems to be an issue with Web AppBuilder Developer Edition Version 2.1. ArcGIS Online is running the next version of WAB. The helpful folks at Esri support were able to provide a work-around for the issue: In the proxy.ashx file, add the following (around line 114): //if url is encoded, decode it.
if (uri.StartsWith("http%3a%2f%2f", StringComparison.InvariantCultureIgnoreCase) || uri.StartsWith("https%3a%2f%2f", StringComparison.InvariantCultureIgnoreCase))
uri = HttpUtility.UrlDecode(uri);
//Esri Support work around
if (uri.StartsWith("https://services.arcgis.com/<orgcode>/arcgis/rest/services/<MyService>/MapServer", StringComparison.InvariantCultureIgnoreCase))
{
uri = uri.Replace("MapServer", "FeatureServer");
}
//End Work around
log(TraceLevel.Info, uri);
ServerUrl serverUrl;
try { This addition basically waits for this URL to pass through the proxy and then when it sees it, it replaces 'MapServer' with 'FeatureServer' and sends it on its merry way. Esri support created bug for the issue: #BUG-000099764 Fail to query related table from web appbuilder app, the request is made through Map Server instead of Feature Server after applying proxy to the app Thanks! Hello all, I have been working on this and I think I found out why I am having issues. After comparing the network traffic with Fiddler web debugger between the app that is not working and one on AGOL that works, I found that the difference between the tow was that the local app (not working one) was using a proxy and the proxy was not including a token on the end of the URL. This is further confirmed when I run the app with out any proxy settings and log in when it loads. If I do it this way, no issues, but when I use the proxy, it will not load related data. If anyone has come across this issue and worked around it, please let me know. Thanks! Chris

Hello all, I am trying to view related data in the attribute table widget in Web AppBuilder. It is a one-to-many relationship and everything works fine on the ArcGIS Online webmap. When I try the same thing in Web AppBuilder, the Attribute table widget comes back with "No related records found" but I know that there are records. The related records are stored in a table that is hosted on ArcGIS Online. When I open the browser dev tools I see this error: Error: Invalid URL I do not have the table showing in the attribute table by default. I am not sure if this is causing the issue. Thanks! Chris
