Jonathan, Is your portal sitting behind behind a forward proxy & firewall along with the settings done in the portal admin section? I only ask because I keep getting answers like it works from Esri Inc support, etc. but their configuration is completely different to how our company does it. It have tested the url above and no luck with it working. I have all tested the domain account many times for internet access, etc and all is working as expected. I just added this layer Australian Land Cover (Web Mercator) and it works with no issues. It appears to be an Esri WMS service.

Dean, What version of portal are you using? I'm using V10.3.1 and having the exact same issue when the URL isn't the format ESRI wants it (eg. ESRI WMS implementation - xxxx.xxx.xxxx/WMSServer). Our portal sits behind a forward proxy & firewall and is setup correctly with the proxy/port settings. I have been talking with ESRI inc and local support on & off for 5 months and still no resolution via portal without other software components. I have pin pointed it down to portal's proxy code and believe there is a bug within the code but they don't believe me when I show them. The proxy code sends the request to our firewall instead of using its own proxy configuration. i have implemented ESRI resource proxy code (.net version) from GitHub for now with modifications to ensure our forward proxy & domain account config is used for Internet access. I created a portal item using the resource proxy/WMS URL and it's the only way I can get it to work. As you said before this functionality should work straight up across all parts of the platform. Let me know if you need more information Regards

James, Do you have more information on the Webhook side of things? Look at seeing if a rest api call could be made to update the status of a feature in a hosted feature service? The example would be - Open Survey123 using a url and passing some information across. When finished with the survey123, sending an update back to the feature to close it off. Thanks

Jon, That's a good question. I would like to hear what Esri has to say about it. I assume you have to use their existing geoevent server to do this work or a python script running from a task schedule

Brian, What version are you using? Just asking because we have 10.3.1 and all the software (Server, Portal & Datastore) & IIS are installed on D:\ Drive and have no issues whatsoever.

Elle, Can you explain in more detail what you are after because you mention you don't want a point in workforce but you want them to be guided to a location/area, etc. This thread is about integration of Survey123 with Workforce and part of Survey123 has the ability to pin point exact locations by manually selecting on a map or automatically (map read only with the GPS signal) not Workforce. If you want to pin point the exact location relating to assets, etc. then Collector would be a better tool to use so the location of the asset record is altered. In Workforce when a user logs in, their GPS location is sent back to the feature service and that is how you can see where the worker is currently located

Niladri, What type of information are you requiring? From the looks of it, you are doing what is required - creatng a web socket, it returns esri geojson. I assume you are also implementing some form of routing for the different layers and providing the same methods/properties the stream service would handle

Jake, Can you tell us if there are any technical limitations with Collaboration? I believe your suggestion would only work if it was related to hosted services using the datastore. I was at the Australian UC recently and was interested in this for services based off an enterprise geodatabase and the presenter wasn't sure if it was even possible yet. Thanks

Alex, In a near future of AGOL this will be possible with AGOL-AGOL collabration where content can be copied from a particular portal group which is setup as the trusted source can copy into the trusted portal group destination. The transferred can be setup with a time schedule. This feature is possible right now with an 'on premise' 10.5.1 Enterprise platform
