I would love to see this come to life. I work in the electrical distribution industry and knowing the true effects of wind in an area and relate this to overhead powerlines to help with thermal dynamic calculations would be of a great benefit. Also, for the people who vote this down Please explan why as to find if something else is available, etc. or something is more pressing to look at.

Jayanta, Thankyou for your reply. I have looked through the links before and can't see any reference on how to configure IIS (eg. create app dir, config FastCGI, add extra py code, etc) to be like the live sandbox that Esri provide (https://notebooks.esri.com/). Could you please point me to the relevant section in those links? That would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Hi there, Is there any documentation on Esri's preferred way to setup Juptyer Notebook on IIS (eg. IIS 8.5 on Win Server 2012R2) to utilize the python api package and example notebooks along with any other software (eg. ArcPro) to take full advantage of the system/platform and to avoid any issues? This would be for an on premise installation. Thanks

Agree with this. I work for an organisation with only 6 publishers and missing the step to select the correct folder when publishing can cause big issues with services all over the place. With the abilily of not being able to move the service to the correct folder makes cleanup difficult & time consuming.

Hi there, Could someone please point me in the right direction of where to find the allowable URL format that can be used with the 'Add Layer from Web' menu option with 'A WMS OGC Web Service' selected? At the moment, I have an URL (see below) that can be used in ArcMap/ArcCatalog with 'Add WMS Server' and it can determine what layers are available but doesn't work in Portal with above menuitem (returns an error - The WMS service cannot be added to the map...) If the URL can't be used, how do I parse the information returned from the request to be able to put into the correct URL format that is suitable for the 'Add Layer from Web' option? Thanks

Neil, I believe Edirlei is looking at a database has tables of nodes/points/vertices with attributes (eg. X, Y, name) and edges/lines with attributes (eg. distance, direction). Edges have a start & finish node which refers to items in the nodes table. This type of database can be implemented in Oracle & SAP HANA to name a few. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Graph_theory https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Graph_database If anybody has any information, I would love to hear about it to Thanks Anthony

Hi there, I know this question on how much RAM is required is dependent on the purpose but there would be some sort of minimum/ average requirement around. Does anybody know or where to point me to? I'm looking at a virtual Windows Server 2012 R2 with 4vCPU (Xeon E5-2600) + 32Gb RAM. Not sure if this is over kill? The datastore will be used with GeoEvent & GeoAnalytics server V10.5 Thanks

Hi there, I work for a government organisation that uses proxy file setting in IE and unable to use Survey123 on Windows without the Proxy Server enabled and settings filled in Connections->LAN Settings. At the moment, this policy is not going to change. Is it possible to get additional configuration placed in Survey123 & Survey123Connect to allow this setting to manually added? I hope the logic would be accept the custom configuration first proceed with current implementation if not found Thanks Anthony

I have found out what the settings are for. These are indeed to set the proxy for ONLY downloading to install the latest version of the software. They have no impact within the application itself. The software relies on IE settings and not section relating to proxy files (eg. PAC files).

Anshuman, Thank you for your reply. The organisation I work for uses a proxy file in 'Use automatic configuration script' section of the LAN settings in IE and Survey123 can't get access to the internet with this in place. I know by enabling Proxy server and placing the address of our proxy server with port number works. At this time, it's not an option to use so I'm trying to find other avenues to set the proxy server url & port within the application. We are using Survey123 V1.9.24 on Windows 7 Ent + SP1 Thanks again
