Single-click selections should select all polygons at that location, not just one polygon. This is how it currently works: One feature is selected (the feature with the lowest ObjectID): This is how I think it ought to work: All features at that location are selected. It would function similar to the select-by-rectangle tool in ArcGIS Pro, and other selection tools, which select all polygons at that location. I have a shapefile that has overlapping polygons. I've used the Select tool to try to select all the polygons at a specific location -- at the red dot in the screenshot below: I've single-clicked at that location, which has selected a single polygon: It seems like ArcGIS Pro is behaving differently than ArcMap did. ArcGIS Pro selects just a single polygon, even if there are multiple overlapping polygons at that location. Note: I'm aware that using a different selection technique, such as select-by-rectangle, behaves differently: all overlapping polygons get selected. But that's not the focus of this question; the focus is single-click selections. Whereas ArcMap would have selected all of the polygons at that location when doing a single-click selection:    As a new ArcGIS Pro user, that difference in selection behavior threw me off a bit. I didn't understand why all the polygons at that location weren't being selected. Further, I would have thought that the top-most polygon would have been the one that got selected. But it doesn't seem to work that way; a polygon that is lower in the stack has been selected. Question: What logic is used for single-click selections when there are multiple overlapping features? I have a FC and two tables: I've joined from Test_FC to Test_Table via the ID fields. I've also joined from Test_FC to Test_Table_2 via the ID fields. Result:   Question: This is what the Layer Properties >> Joins window looks like: To be honest, I don't really know what I'm looking at in that diagram. ArcGIS Pro 3.1 When using "Click to add new row." in the attribute table of a feature class or standalone table: In that new record, I can edit the OBJECTID field. Or at least it appears that way. When I click away from the new record, the value I entered in OBJECTID gets discarded and the system OBJECTID is used instead. Which isn't surprising. But I don't think users should be able to enter/edit the OBJECTID in the first place, if that field is actually read-only. That's confusing for users. Could that behavior be changed? I'm creating a join from Test_FC to Test_table via a common ID field. In Test_Table, I've accidently set the ID field's datatype to text instead of a long integer. Not knowing about the mistake, I attempt to create a join in the attribute table of Test_FC. But, the join fails, because the ID field in Test_Table is text, not an integer. Failed to refresh table. Error: The value type is incompatible with the field type.   That error message is expected. But what's not expected is: ArcGIS Pro creates a broken join that is fiddly to deal with. The Attribute Table automatically closes -- which isn't something I'm used to seeing. When I try to open the Attribute Table to investigate the join, I get the same error again: Failed to refresh table. I don't see a way to delete the join from the layer Properties:   After spending some time clicking around in ArcGIS Pro, I can see that I can remove the join using the layer's right-click context menu. And that does seem to work -- I can remove the join and open the Attribute Table again without getting the error. But it was a bit of a journey to get there. In a layer's Properties window: It looks like it's not possible to create a join or relate from that window. As a new ArcGIS Pro user, I find that design frustrating/unintuitive. I'd like to be able to create joins/relates right in that window. I'm aware that I can create joins and relates other ways, such as from the Attribute Table. I'd like to see that same functionality in the layer Properties window too -- since that's where I'm often working (on other properties such as the definition query, or other existing joins and relates). When creating a new field in the Fields window: After entering the field name, I often try to single-click away from the Field Name textbox, in order to change a different property, such as the Data Type. However, single-clicking in that scenario has no effect; the Field Name textbox still has focus/is editable. As a new ArcGIS Pro user, I find that behavior unintuitive and frustrating. I have labels on a feature class. I want to make a change to the label visibility range. I've changed "Out beyond (minimum scale)" from 1:10,000 to 1:24,000. There doesn't seem to be an Apply button in the Visibility Range sub tab for committing the changes. I'm guessing the change gets automatically applied once the textbox looses focus. Idea/question: Would it be more intuitive to have an Apply button in the Visibility Range sub tab, similar to what we have in the main Label Expression sub tab?   ArcGIS Pro 3.0.2. ... View more
