I'm having a similar issue. I have the map preview and I click the big print icon. Then it asks which printer I want to use. But nothing gets printed. All my data is on local SDE except the basemaps. The client side printing issue has been resolved and available for download here. Please use this link to download the PrintTool.AddIns.xap and copy it to replace the existing one available under C:\inetpub\wwwroot\Builder\Extensions. Please make sure to clear the browser cache before you use the tool.

Could you please look into the ../wwwroot/Apps/<Application folder> if you have the Viewer.xap file? Since you upgraded you should also have Viewer.xap.bak. If yes did you try to clear the browser cache after the upgrade? Thanks,

There is a built in tool "Remove Layer" which could be added to the "Layer Context Menu" toolbar using Manage tools. This provides the ability to remove layer from the Map Contents by right clicking the layers in the viewer.

Are you working with esri:Legend control? You can create your own Group Layer and push individual FeatureLayers into the GroupLayer. Have you looked at this sample http://resources.arcgis.com/en/help/silverlight-api/samples/start.htm#GroupLayers

You can add the TextSymbol as Graphic to the Map. Here is a sample http://resources.arcgis.com/en/help/silverlight-api/samples/start.htm#AddGraphicsXAML <esri:Graphic> <esri:Graphic.Symbol> <esri:TextSymbol FontFamily="Arial" FontSize="14" Foreground="Black" Text="My Text" /> </esri:Graphic.Symbol> <esri:MapPoint X="-10.609" Y="23.729"> <esri:Geometry.SpatialReference > <esri:SpatialReference WKID="4326" /> </esri:Geometry.SpatialReference> </esri:MapPoint> </esri:Graphic> Another way to use a ElementLayer and add a textBox. Here is a sample using ElementLayer http://resources.arcgis.com/en/help/silverlight-api/samples/start.htm#ElementLayer

If you want the true centroid of the polygon. I would try using a GP service. I haven't tried but I believe Feature To Point GP tool could do the job.

Basically, you need to run an attribute query against the polygon feature layer consisting of polygons representing various zip codes. You can follow this online sample http://help.arcgis.com/en/webapi/silverlight/samples/start.htm#AttributeQuery

I don't think there is a extent proeprty available for Graphic. Since resultGraphic.Geometry is MapPoint. You should use MyMap.ZoomTo(resultGraphic.Geometry.Extent) which should zoom to the minimum enclosing envelope of the point. http://help.arcgis.com/en/webapi/silverlight/apiref/ESRI.ArcGIS.Client~ESRI.ArcGIS.Client.Geometry.MapPoint~Extent.html Alternatively, you can also use the Expand method of Envelope class to creates a new envelope expanded by the amount specified from the original envelope. Envelope expanded = myEnvelope.Expand(1.1); http://help.arcgis.com/en/webapi/silverlight/apiref/ESRI.ArcGIS.Client~ESRI.ArcGIS.Client.Geometry.Envelope~Expand.html

This isn't really a SLT/ArcGIS SLT API issue. It is actually a general programming issue. Test2 variable goes outside the scope when accessed outside the loop. You must declare the Test2 variable outside the loop. Also, remember that Test2 will always take the last feature value of the attribute (within the featureset). Unless you know for sure that your featureSet going to return only one feature. You may wanna use some condition to break out of the loop (after getting the desired attribute value). Dim Test As String
Dim Test2 As String
If featureSet IsNot Nothing AndAlso featureSet.Features.Count > 0 Then
For Each feature As Graphic In featureSet.Features
feature.Symbol = TryCast(LayoutRoot.Resources("PrecinctsFill"), FillSymbol)
graphicsLayer.Graphics.Insert(0, feature)
Test2 = feature.Attributes("PRECINCTS_")
Next feature
End If
Test = Test2

You just need to create a MapPoint geometry (MyMapPoint) based on the input lat/long values. Then use ZoomTo method of Map Class. http://help.arcgis.com/en/webapi/silverlight/apiref/ESRI.ArcGIS.Client~ESRI.ArcGIS.Client.Map~ZoomTo.html MyMap.ZoomTo( MyMapPoint.Extent)
