Hi Kevin - Are you using ST_GEOMETRY? There is a chance that the spatial references are slightly different, even though they are the same reference system. Check out the SDE_geometry_columns table and grab the 'srid' of each feature class. Then find those srids in the SDE_spatial_references table and validate that they are the same. -Adam Z

Hi - Yes, as you have described it. You will add ArcGIS Server to GeoEvent Server. Have you looked at the spatiotemporal data store for your GeoEvent Server? Hi Jamie - Does the user connected to the database have the appropriate privileges to add/modify/delete the data? Are you editing in a versioned environment or editing the default version of the database? -Adam Z

Hello - The 10.5 release introduced ArcGIS Enterprise. With this release the concept of server roles was introduced; GIS Server, Image Server, Geoevent Server and GeoAnalytics Server. An ArcGIS Enterprise must have at minimum one GIS Server role (typically referred to as the base deployment, Base ArcGIS Enterprise deployment—Documentation | ArcGIS Enterprise), before adding additional ArcGIS Enterprise Roles (Additional server deployment—Documentation | ArcGIS Enterprise). If you have time, review the help associated with the links provided and reply back with any additional questions. Thanks, Adam Z

You'll need an Enterprise Geodatabase in order to facilitate spatial views. Are you running an Enterprise geodatabase, i.d. Sql Server or Oracle? EDIT: Essentially, yes. You could use the create view in ArcCatalog to insert your sql statement. Where there are more than two tables involved I prefer to create the view in the database and then register it. Helping with the statement is difficult unless we know where your SQL Server databases (right, SQL Server?) are positioned and how the tables relate to one another or to the base feature class. -Adam Z

I have implemented spatial views in the past. My rule of thumb is if it gets complicated I create the view natively in the database and then register it with the Enterprise geodatabase. The registration is completed in via your connection to the database, right-clicking on the layer, manage and register with geodatabase. -Adam Z

Hey John - Sorry, you are correct. If using Survey123 Connect, the app must be used at this time to access the survey publicly. To make the survey available via web browser it needs to be built in Survey123 web. -Adam Z

Hi Travis - I'm not completely sure the ArcGIS server account needs to be part of AD, but I have set up environments like this in the past with success. This method is preferred if you start scaling horizontally, i.e. adding machines to the site. As for logon issues, since you are federated the identity manager is Portal. Are you able to log in to portal? The same credentials that get you into Portal will also get you into ArcGIS Server. You need to make sure that the identity you are using is an Admin or Publisher. If I missed what you were asking on this topic, redirect me. As for the SAML question....if you go this route the domain credentials would be used to access content only shared within the organization, so yes (if they are not already signed into Portal) they would be prompted for authentication. In my organization, I'm prompted to use my domain account or an ArcGIS account; by selecting domain I am authenticated automatically. -Adam Z
