This is an extension that needs to be installed and licensed before use, just like Spatial Analyst etc. Modify your install to include this extention, enable it, and you should be able to access the tools. Best Regards, Jim

I do not have a direct contact for her, but she does monitor the forums. You could also run a standard support ticket, and seek a definitive answer through that. Best Regards, Jim

The criteria is based on the cell center. If the cell center falls within the polygon mask, the cell is included. If you want to include any cell that is touched, apply a buffer to your mask polygon that is equal to 1/2 your raster cellsize. That should grab the cells currently touched, and not extend the polygon mask far enough to include additional raster cells. Best Regards, Jim

I would not expect any transformation errors if the only difference is the central meridian. Differences crop up when the spheroid is changed. You are basically just shifting location, a 1 point transformation. If you wish to be doubly certain, Melita Kennedy at ESRI is the coordinate expert. Best Regards, Jim

Perhaps it is an issue with the multiple "." in the filename? Will your first portion of the model (Validator) run standalone, or does the error popup immediately?

Not overly familiar with this, but can right click in the model and create a variable, and use this as the placeholder and source for the week number? Jim

"Will running various analyses on this data create problems for us" This all depends on the analyses you wish to run. For example, if you are interested in the area of a herd territory, overlapping polygons are not a problem. If you wish to add all those territory areas together to determine the area necessary to accommodate all herds, you will get an artificially inflated number, because herds can share overlapping territory. You could potentially Union the polygons, and make a distinction between shared and sole use areas within a single herd territory. Again, this all depends on the type of analysis being performed. Best Regards, Jim

an inelegant solution is to buffer your points by 1m. Perform a spatial join on the buffer output to the points, choosing "Each polygon will be given a summary of the numeric attributes of the poitns that fall inside it, and a count field showing how many fall inside it." The (resulting count -1) will give you the number of neighbors in 1m radius. Regards, Jim

Mark, Tim is correct, you can do this in the field calculator. Sample input in attachment. Where FID_1 is your compare to value, and FID_2 is the value to be compared. A simple python function called Percent is fed the 2 values, and 3 if statements decide how to proceed based on the comparison outcome. If it is more than 20% return 1, if it is less than 20% return 2 and if it is exactly 20% return 0 Regards, Jim

If you have added your data to your map (which is using WGS84) and it is displaying correctly, right click the layer in the table of contents, choose DATA>> EXPORT DATA and select "use the same coordinate system as the data frame". The resulting shapefile is in the same coordinate system as your data frame now. Add 2 fields, and calculate the geometry to add xy values in WGS84. Regards, Jim

Sorry for the delayed response, Tracy, I have been out of office. You are correct, one can not set the break points in the proportional symbology interface. I would create a "fake" dataset that covers the full range of values from all layers you wish to symbolize (unless one already covers the full range), create the symbology for that dataset, and use that for the symbology template.
