Lidar symbology not working

Anyone else run across this?  LiDAR symbology will only work at very large scales.  By this, I mean that symbology of points by elevation, classification, return, intensity, etc. does not change on the map (shows only red no matter what) though it shows in the contents and symbology pane.  The files do contain these attributes as visible in the statistics and when zoomed.  It does not matter the exact lidar file, version, standalone or in a dataset, etc. etc. The files work fine on other machines in Pro and when using lasview or cloudcompare on my machine.  I cannot recall any changes to my Pro configuration, but this suddenly started.

As painful as it might be, the first item in the list is to uninstall and re-install the software. Sorry.

Thanks.  I already did.  I'm going to try this again.  I thought I removed all of the temp and hidden folders at the time, but when I reinstalled my custom quick access toolbar was there -- so I obviously missed something.
