Hello, Emma. What you want to do is set a "Page Definition Query" on your starting point dataset. This is not available for the layer that the data driven pages (DDD) are based on, but this does not sound like an issue for you. Once you have your DDD defined, on your starting point layer: >>Layer Properties>>Definition Query there will be a new tab at the bottom called Page Definition. Use this to limit the display of your starting points. If I am unclear, search "Using Page Definition Queries" in the help. Regards, Jim

Habboub, There must be some variables that impact the movement over time, and those need to be assigned weighting factors for use in the prediction of future locations. You need to understand why 1984 to 1986 2 year period is comparatively large vs 1992 to 1999 7 year period. Any prediction based on the xy locations versus time without consideration of other variables may as well be random. Try adding some more information for better responses. Regards, Jim

Lorne, Direct from the help: Toolset and tool display order Toolsets and tools are always displayed alphabetically. You cannot change this alphabetical ordering. If there is some implied order to using tools within a toolbox or toolset, such as "use this tool first, then this tool," you should consider creating models, since models are the way you create and use a sequence of tools. so, what about a tool that runs all of these in the appropriate order, in addition to the individual stand-alone tools? How about incorporating an arcpy.CalculateField_management()? You can acquire the current date/time with python module datetime: import datetime now = datetime.datetime.now() Then you can supply this as the value to put into the field.
