Hi Teresa - It took me a few minutes to understand what you want to do, but it seems you want to change the short name of this organization: https://gis-olmsted-hub.maps.arcgis.com/home/index.html If that's correct, then you will find how to change the short name in this section of the administration help: https://doc.arcgis.com/en/arcgis-online/administer/configure-general.htm#ESRI_SECTION1_CF88D4923E734DFF901ED9A7DED6FB63 However, Having lived through this twice in a couple of different organizations I would personally advise against doing this. Note the caveats: As for the important considerations part, read more about them here: https://doc.arcgis.com/en/arcgis-online/reference/faq.htm#SHORT_NAME Like the FAQ states (roughly paraphrased) this is a pain in the neck and there may be long range ripple effects, or depending what you have going on in the org might not even be possible without a lot of dismantling. Especially if you have lots of content in that org already, this will be troublesome. Perhaps others with experience with short name changes can offer more opinions/advice.

@MappyIan I tried to repro with the extra info you provided, but don't have quite so many filters as you seem to have. You said you have 29 filters, is that correct? I configured with four. I also configured with three search sources. So far, all copies are configurable and work well. I'll poke around a bit more, but it would be very useful if I can get more specifics from you - perhaps use your map? If you don't want to share your map here, you can send me the link at [email protected]. Plus, it would also help if I can call you to see if my repro attempt is using your configuration options. You can send me contact info via email, perhaps we can do a call, Teams, Zoom, or some other meeting so I can ask a few more questions. I can be reached at: 9093691315. I'm pursuing this because if I can get a repro in to the dev team to look at, there is time for a fix for the next update coming up in June. Thanks.

URL parameters can be used to pass along additional information or instructions to many ArcGIS Instant Apps. For example, you can zoom an app to a specific location, zoom in to a specific scale level, find a location, configure a pop-up, and more. I've tried changing settings in my test copied app I tried earlier, and have not been able to surface any issues. You don't mention the Instant App you are using above, but I'd encourage you to detail the repro steps or to open a support issue so that the support staff can develop a repro case for the dev team to look at.

The alternative fuel stations layer is a live feeds layer that displays the location of alternative fueling stations across the U.S. and Canada. I ran through a few quick tests this morning, duplicating your case where you are the admin and attempting to copy a Nearby app authored by another member, with a map authored by yet someone else. As org admin, I was able to configure the app owned by the other member and successfully copied that app bringing over all settings - theme, info panel, tools. As far as I have been able to determine, everything works as it should. One variable that I did not explore is that you mention that the app and the map are shared in a group. Is that map/app sharing limited to the group members, or is the group simply being used to organize the work? Who is the owner of the group? You could easily test this yourself by temporarily moving the app and map out of the group and trying the copy again.

As a workaround, and depending on what you need in your Portfolio, you could configure an Instant Apps with the measure tool (and other tools you want) and add those to your Portfolio instead of using maps directly.

Yes! Your Portfolio Instant App is using live maps that are built using live layers, so any updates to those maps, or layers you've used to build those maps, will be reflected in your Portfolio app. One thing to keep in mind, the maps in your Portfolio are referenced using the item ID, so if you do something like Save As with one of your maps, that of course will not be automatically reflected in Portfolio. But any changes to the maps/layers you've got in the Portfolio will.

Yes, if you have uploaded or uploaded and published those shapefiles into your full ArcGIS Online account they will not go away, even after your Pro trial does.
