You've not mentioned which basemap you are using, and that would be an important key to understand what is going on. ArcGIS Pro as typically configured will use the same basemap gallery as configured in your organization. That basemap you show looks sort of like the Terrain with Labels basemap, which does cross the border with terrain elevation. I checked a few other standard elevation options for basemaps, and there is nothing I can find in Living Atlas that stops at the border. My suspicion is that you either have a custom basemap gallery set for your organization or that perhaps you're using ArcGIS Pro configured to work offline and potentially might have different basemaps. More information about the basemap you are choosing would help figure this out.

The Living Atlas website is a custom implementation, however you could come close using Category Gallery - one of the group-based configurable apps. The filters shown in the Living Atlas page could be implemented as categories, and item type filter are also available. Example: https://www.arcgis.com/apps/instant/filtergallery/index.html?appid=21055251471544088a735e4bcb0412d1 Blog article: https://www.esri.com/arcgis-blog/products/arcgis-online/mapping/category-gallery/ Other options to implement something similar could be done using Experience Builder or Hub. But IMHO, Category Gallery is the easiest way to get there.

Esri has already joined Overture Maps Foundation and we plan to include Overture data in services that we publish. These include hosted feature layers, hosted 3D scene layers, and integration of content into existing basemaps. Thanks for sending along the observation. The content is curated and published by NASA, who also provides the item documentation. While the same published source, they are different in that they are accessing different imagery. When comparing the Filter between the two, note that there are differences. I did not investigate thoroughly (and others may have additional insight), there are multiple satellites involved in collecting the imagery, which is compiled for publishing. As we announced recently, Esri is adding 3D Basemaps to its existing collection of online, ready-to-use basemaps. Learn how ArcGIS Living Atlas Community Maps Program participating organizations are helping improve 3D features within the maps and how your organization can help further enhance these maps by contributing to the program. To help support this effort, the Community Maps Team has begun working with a select group of our contributing organizations. These organizations are managing enhanced attributes for their buildings, such as levels, height, eave height, and the roof form, which makes them great candidates for testing service deliveries and other tools necessary for sharing their buildings with the Community Maps Program. With the February 2023 update, Map Viewer added support for a new media layer. This layer enables you to position images on your map, such as those downloaded from the David Rumsey collection. Obviously these capabilities are not as robust as the true georeferencing capabilities of ArcGIS Pro, but do provide a way for you to place and position images on your map. This Instant App uses a map that has lots of examples to view - use the bookmarks tool in the upper right for navigation. https://onlinelabs.maps.arcgis.com/apps/instant/basic/index.html?appid=17f280e4d8b940738f2ac280f357a74a More info: https://www.esri.com/arcgis-blog/products/arcgis-online/mapping/announcing-media-layers/

Esri’s Updated Demographics contains thousands of detailed demographic variables across a multitude of categories such as population, age, race and ethnicity, education, households, income, and more – all created by Esri's demographics team. View blog article We have taken a subset of the most popular demographic attributes from this suite of data and compiled them into a multi-scale Online hosted layer: Esri Updated Demographics Variables. This layer contains Country, State, County, Congressional District, and Tract level geographies with appropriate visibility ranges so as you zoom in, you see increased levels of detail. Congressional District is turned off by default, but easily enabled when needed. For more information, see What's new in Esri demographics and Living Atlas (June 2023).

Yes, another good (perhaps better) way to accomplish the task. At least one item has to be selected (obviously) to see the Remove button. But that way is better for removing a bunch at once, rather than having to open the item pages for each.

If you open the item that is in your group, you should be able to see the Share button. Since you are not the item owner you cannot change the share level of the item, but you can remove it from your group using X Remove.
