Hi Joshua, it's indeed helpful for ArcGIS Earth users to get an idea of our general product plan and also let them know what to expect in the few coming releases. We have been constantly delivering this to our clients too. A public high-level road map document could be another useful approach. Will consider adding it somewhere. Thanks for your suggestions!

Hi Jim, do you still have the crash problem? Not sure what caused the problem but here's another method you can try: Uninstall Earth and clean up all files under your local workspace before reinstall it again. C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\ESRI\ArcGISEarth\. Choose to show hidden items of your File Explorer so that you can see the AppData folder. Reinstall Earth with default installation options.

Hi Troy, Thanks for your feedbacks. To answer your questions: Remove a specific layer by layerID or something similar is plausible and we are considering it for the next update. I think two options are expected here: 1) set layer visibility when adding it; 2) set visibility status to specific layer from TOC through #1 workflow. In general, what have been addressed here are very helpful and I look forward to hearing more about your use cases the Automation API. Thanks, Mandy

Hi Troy, Thanks for your interests in ArcGIS Earth. Yes, ArcGIS Earth is planning to release a API called Automation API in this coming 1.6 release. The Automation API is a limited interface designed for app-to-app communication. With the API, you can build .NET extensions to call URL on your local machine to access and communicate with Earth. We will also be able to add more methods to the Automation API in the future releases. However, we do not have a sophisticated API yet. But this is also on our planlist. Hope this helps! Hi Dimitris, Sorry to see this happens on your machine. First, can you try to check if your machine meets the system requirements? Then, if this issue still happens, please feel free to send us your error log, so that we can help locate the problem. To do so, you can go to your local workspace directory, with default installation process, the error log folder should be under C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\ESRI\ArcGISEarth\, named logs. Another way worth trying is to clean up the workspace (ArcGISEarth) folder and try launch again. Thanks!

Hi Serge, I assume you are using the shortcut key to rename 'My Data' node since there is no such option on the right-clicking menu. By default, the app will work consistently with what are defined in the workspace files, including folder name, layer visibility, etc. We will log this issue and check it later. Thanks!

The ability to search/query workspace is in our design backlog, however in current released version, we don't support that yet. We now provide the ability to export and import workspace from settings, within the workspace json files you will be able to do some search on your data. Hope it helps you.

Hi Abbey, thanks for your report. So I would suggest to clear the default workspace of ArcGIS Earth under: C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\ESRI\ArcGISEarth. You can save your prior work by save your workspace files elsewhere, see Share your work for details. If you still see the issue, please let me know. Meanwhile, we'll also keep eye on this problem and see if we can have any findings.

Hi Paul, ArcGIS Earth can read csv/txt file which contains latitude/longtitude or address information, but it doesn't support converting them into shapefiles yet. If ArcMap is the software that you are using, you may need to refer to ArcMap help document on creating shapefiles. Hope it will help you. Thanks, Mandy

These are really good suggestions and helpful information, thanks! In the coming V1.2 UC release, we will make some improvements on the measure tool. Feature of configuration on pop-ups will be supported in the long term plan. We definitely will keep improving and get AGE better. Cheers, Mandy
