May I ask what are you trying to accomplish? There is no published API for Data Reviewer for Desktop. But if I can understand your business case, maybe there's another workflow that may work for you.

If you are still experiencing this issue after installing ArcGIS 10 Service Pack 5 and ArcGIS Data Reviewer 10 Service Pack 5, it might be best to contact technical support. They can setup a desktop sharing session to see exactly what you are doing and troubleshoot your issue.

Haven't heard of this happening before except with the Valency Check. - and there was a fix for this in a patch. Are you running the batch job on Selection Set, Current Extent, Definition Query, or Full Database? Can you install service pack 5 and test again?

When you ran the batch job, did you have any invalid geometry errors? In order to execute a Reviewer batch job, you have to start a Reviewer session. In the Reviewer Session Manager dialog, there is an advanced property in the Reviewer Methods tab that you may want to enable, Continue batch processing if default checks return error. By default, invalid geometry checks will be automatically added to your batch validation in the Batch Validate dialog. If you have invalid geometry features, then the batch validation process will end unless you enable the Continue batch processing if default checks return error option.

At Service Pack 4 for Data Reviewer, we made a fix to the UIs when your computer's display setting was set to 120 DPI (125%). However, I would recommend installing the latest Service Pack, SP5, which was just published last week. Data Reviewer Service Pack 5 also includes the fix for the check dialogs.

Thank you for your comment. We do have plans to include the date fields for the Table to Table Attribute and the Geometry on Geometry checks for a service pack for 10.1.

I'm having issues with the Geometry on Geometry Check. I'm looking for point features that do not intersect a line feature. The reviewer is flagging orphan points but is also flagging points snapped to the end of only one line. Points snapped to the end of more than one line are fine. I have tried multiple Spatial Relation Check types. Any advice? Reviewer 9.3.1 SP1 Patch2 build 533 I just wanted to mention that this was a core bug with file geodatabases that was exposed through a few Reviewer data checks like the Geometry on Geometry Check. The core ArcGIS 10 Service Pack 4 has addressed this issue. Please install the service pack at your earliest convenience.

Hello Martin, Have you seen the example in the help documentation? Try this: ((19)|(20))\d\d((0[1-9])|(1[012]))((0[1-9])|([12][0-9])|(3[01])) I think you were missing a couple of sets of parenthesis.

Though Kumar provided you with a method to display more than 20,000 records in the Reviewer Table, I just wanted to warn users that increasing this size can create instability with the Reviewer Table and cause ArcMap to crash. That is why we have this 20,000 limit. Please keep in mind that the number of records that the Reviewer Table can display in ArcMap is dependent on your machine configuration and what other applications that may be running. We are happy to say that for ArcGIS Data Reviewer for Desktop 10.1, the 20,000 limit has been removed.

BTW - at 10 SP3, we now capture non-simple geometries as feature records instead of row records. So you'll be able to double-click on the record in the Reviewer table and be taken directly to that feature.

Ovidio, Yes, the instructions from Pete is for version 10. I hope it works out for you when you upgrade. Anyhow, I wanted you to know that your question prompted the Data Reviewer team, with the help from Pete, to post a blog answering your question. You can check it out here. Is there a version number after ESRIProduction? E.g., HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\ESRIProduction\<version#> Create a new key named Reviewer. Create a new string value in Reviewer named MaxRecordLimit. Modify the data value to the value you want. Note: The higher the number, you increase the chances of having ArcMap crash. The new size limit will be dependent on your computer configuration and other applications you have running on it.
