Hi, This is really a great resource being able to view by day. In viewing the data in Pro how would a person show the values displayed in the map? For instance I have a specific day shown how do I show the range of values represented on the map? Thanks, Kathy

I just figured out the reason by viewing the JSON of the web app in the ArcGIS Online assistant. It turns out for the search widget I had specified to also have one of the secure map services included as a search layer. I guess this didn't update as the service is updated because it still showed the development url. I just removed the layer from the search widget and saved/launched the web app and the dev sign in is gone!!!!!!! I had checked out other widget settings yesterday to see but had forgotten about the search. So happy to have it resolved!

I have cleared the browser cache and history for a couple of the browsers but it still shows. I still think its interesting that the web map the web app is referencing only has the production secure sign-in but the web app has both the dev/production sign-ins. That's a good thought too on the browser history/cache. Thanks Robert!

Hi, I have a web application built using the web app builder. I have several secure map services that were on development but have now been moved to the production GIS server. I updated the web map urls using the ArcGIS Online Assistant and all the secure map services now show the production server. When looking at the urls in the ArcGIS Online Assistant I don't see any dev server urls and same when I review the web map data itself. My issue is the web app builder/application both pop up with a sign in for the secure production map services (which is what I want) but also a sign-in still pops up for a dev secure map service. The interesting thing is when I open and edit my web map the web application is linked to, I only get the production sign-in and no secure development sign-in. I can't figure out why this is. I've checked the web map and data sources and even removed the one map service the sign-in is popping up for even though when I go to the layer description it goes to the secure production map service. Why would the WAB be holding onto that secure dev service or where? I was hoping it was a lag on the AGOL side but today it is still doing the same thing. Has anybody had this happen? I really would like to resolve the issue and not have the web app popping up with two sign-ins! Thanks in advance, Kathy

Thanks Kelly Hutchins for the reply! I will review the link you sent on the API. Also on the measure tool for location it would be so great if you could enter in a lat./long. and have the map zoom to that location but it doesn't look like this is currently an option either. I really like the simplicity of the basic map viewer template but those features have both come up as comments in folks reviewing the map.

Hi, Is there any plans to update the measure tool to also allow decimal minutes as a location format? Currently it has decimal degrees and degrees, minutes, seconds. Decimal minutes is a very popular format we use in regulations and it would be great to have this option in the basic map viewer. I see it is available in the coordinate conversion widget but in using the basic map viewer application template I don't see a way to show decimal minute coordinates. Is there a work around or current option I'm missing? Thanks in advance, Kathy

Thanks Owen Evans, That is good to know on the best practice for web design. I wasn't thinking about that in relation to the subtitles but it does make sense. Because of our cover photo the minimal design option really doesn't work but I think we will do as you suggest and just add paragraph text/button below the title slide for the .pdf download. Thanks for your time!, Kathy

Hi, I've been asked to create a digital version of a published book our Department recently released. We would like to have a hyperlink to be able to download the published .pdf version of the book. Will the ability to add a hyperlink in the subtitle be included in the future release? Thanks, Kathy

Hi, I've had this happen now twice this morning alone after making a number of edits my feature class is now corrupt again! I'm currently using ArcGIS Pro 2.4.0 and I have a feature class from a file geodatabase. I've been making edits which has went fine until I try and delete fields. It worked fine to delete one field but when I clicked to delete another field it starts popping up all these errors and closes out the file. The feature class is now corrupt and I get the message "Failed to load data. Error: FDO error: -2147024894 FDO error: -2147024894". I've had this happen several times over the past few months where deleting fields corrupts the file. Why is this? It is very frustrating. While I did make a backup of the data (I forgot it had a definition query on it, so essentially my latest edits are gone). This seems like a very repeatable error/bug. Has this already been reported? Thanks, Kathy

Hi, I just started using the new Story Maps and I noticed in the maps that are added you now have to click on the 'plus'/'minus' to zoom in and out compared to the classic that allow you to use the mouse for this functionality. Having to use the plus/minus symbols is cumbersome. Will this functionality be brought forward? Thank-you, Kathy

Hi, I'm posting this question for a coworker. Using ESRI JavaScript API 4.12, based on the Intro to graphics - 4.12 example here: (https://developers.arcgis.com/javascript/latest/sample-code/intro-graphics/index.html) my coworker is creating temporary HTML files that are loaded in a .Net Windows Form web browser control to view coordinates as they are entered into the application. The map renders fine, can zoom in out with the mouse wheel/+ or – controls but we cannot click and hold the left mouse button to move the map in the control. Is there a function or setting that needs to be set to allow this? Thanks in advance, Kathy

Hi David Coley and Nataliya Lys, I was wondering if you ever figured out why your registered ArcGIS Services were allowing the option for file geodabase downloads? I need to register some more of our rest services in AGOL/Open Data and would really love the option for file geodatabase downloads without having to post a file geodatabase for it to link to. I had read on another post and wondered if the ability that you are seeing for certain services that enable file geodabase download is because the service was published to have feature access capabilities and data export enabled? If yes, is the data for your service coming from an enterprise database or file database? I was hoping the enhancement would have been resolved. Thanks, Kathy

I'm wondering if in this case if I just need to create a new content item in AGOL with our rest service and basically copy/paste the info (description and other) from the hosted AGOL layer and then delete the hosted feature service. It seems cumbersome but that is seeming like the solution in my case. Thanks

ok, that makes sense. One thing is the person that originally published the layers from ArcMap had separate map services which I guess differs from the current ArcGIS Server rest service which has 6 layers within one map service. In ArcGIS Pro I can just add a url for a single layer within the map service but in ArcMap when I add the rest service url I don't have the option for a specific layer and can only turn off/turn on in ArcMap. This seems problematic in overwriting the individual hosted feature layers. Can I overwrite the hosted AGOL feature services from ArcGIS Pro if they were originally published from ArcMap or ArcMap only? Thank-you!

Hi, I'm trying to figure out how to update the url of a hosted feature layer in AGOL that is shared on Open Data. The feature layer was originally published thru ArcMap to AGOL but I now would like to update the url with a service from our ArcGIS Server. When I look in the settings options for the hosted feature layer I don't see the option to update the url like I do with other items. I've also tried to update the registered service url using the ArcGIS Online Assistant. It lets me add in the url but when I click update and check the url it reverts back to the hosted AGOL url. I believe because the data was originally uploaded thru ArcMap that I may need to overwrite the service thru ArcMap but I'm a bit confused on how I would now point the AGOL url to that of our ArcGIS Service url thru ArcMap. I would rather not completely remove the item from AGOL and have to re-populate all the descriptions and settings in Open Data since this is pretty time intensive and doesn't seem like it should be necessary. Hopefully there is an easy solution I am missing. Thanks in advance, Kathy
