Anthony, I believe arcmap has an option to select the editor time in UTC. So, if you can select the time in UTC format and any updates from that point onwards will be UTC time. I hope this helps! ~Shan

For arcgis there are two types of indexes namely Spatial index and Attribute index. As far as I am aware and correct me if I am wrong takes care of the attribute index only. I have tested this by creating an attribute index from Oracle SQL Developer and it was visible in the same table/feature class when viewed from ArcCatalog and vice versa. For building/rebuilding Spatial index I would suggest to use Rebuild Indexes—Help | ArcGIS Desktop in a python script and automate the process when you compress the DB. I will go ahead and follow this post just to see if I missed something. I hope this helps! ~Shan

Tirrell, I assume you are storing point location in the excel and you are updating the data and want the updates to be reflected online as well? ArcMap creates an event layer which is an in-memory layer and any updates made to the source excel/csv file is visible in almost instantaneously. Having said that, if you are publishing the data to arcgis server with the folder which contains the excel registered with arcgis server your updates should be reflected on the service. In case you are working with AGOL it will not work as the data is copied over to AGOL and you will have to overwrite the same service to view the updates. You may refer: Make XY Event Layer—Help | ArcGIS Desktop I hope this helps! ~Shan

Thank you for sharing the sample data. Based on the sample a typical address should be something like Rigstavagen 63, Soraker, 86035? (Do feel free to correct me if I am wrong) Any chance you have a single field for address where you have the complete address. If you do not have the complete address (this is just for testing purposes) can you try to create a text field and concatenate the addresses including the postal code and while creating the address locator map the new address field against CITY. I hope this helps! ~Shan

Wendy, You need to create an additional locator for postal codes. Once that has been created you need to create a Composite Address Locator which should have inputs as the single address locator for postal codes and the one using the Gazetteer address locator style. The Composite address locator should be able to locate the data based on just the postal codes as well. I am not sure how the postal codes are for Sweden but if I am not mistaken you guys should have a 5-digit postal codes, so you can try using the US Address—ZIP 5-Digit address locator style and see f it fits your requirements. Please refer the following for more details: Commonly used address locator styles—Help | ArcGIS for Desktop Creating a composite address locator—Help | ArcGIS Desktop Keep in mind that US Address—ZIP 5-Digit address locator style has been specifically designed for addresses in US, so you might have to alter the fields in your input feature class. I hope this helps! ~Shan

Alfred, When you enable attachments on a table it simply creates an additional table which has a relationship with the parent table based on the OBJECTID field. So, the relationship is established between the parent table and the child table based on the OBJECTID (parent) and REL_OBJECTID (child). Now having said that it should not matter if you perform a join with the parent table with any other table. So, to answer you query you will not have to remove / disable the attachments to perform a join. I hope this helps! ~Shan

This is as close as it gets to resolving the issue. Not at all impressed with arcgis pro. There is no point in rolling out updates if half the systems are not able to get the updates or even the notifications. failupdates Kory Kramer

I was logged in the first time i noticed the issue and then I logged out and restarted pro and still no update notification. I am concerned since there are few bugs that are present in 2.1 and have been fixed in 2.2.3 and since I am not getting the update it is affecting my work and obviously the desktop has better specs than my laptop so it becomes a time consuming task to perform all the workflows on the laptop rather than the desktop.
