Hi @Owen_A , If you are creating the circle in a feature layer then the area should be automatically calculated by the system in the SHAPE_AREA field. The calculation based on the projection of the layer. However, if you are creating a graphic then you might need to use the measure tool to calculate it. I suspect there might be other snippets available for this but I speak from a non-developer or desktop level standpoint. If you want to recalculate the area of a Feature (not a graphic) you may use How To: Calculate geometry in ArcGIS Pro or Calculate Geometry Attributes. The calculation based on the projection of the layer. I hope this helps!

Hi @turguttosun , Just from a basic data type standpoint Double has a higher range than Float. Having said that, it is easier to move a data from a Float field into a Double but not the other way around, not without data loss. You may refer ArcGIS field data types In your case, you will have to Add Field to create a secondary field with field type as Double and use Calculate Field to populate the data. I hope this helps!

Hi @YiZeng , You need to install Microsoft Database Engine for ArcMap to read the Excel files. This is quite a common issue with ArcGIS Desktop. Check out the following which should help resolve the issue 1. Understanding how to use Microsoft Excel files in ArcGIS 2. Microsoft Access Database Engine 2016 Redistributable I hope this helps!

This might be a weird thing to ask but can you try and see if you are able to view an existing excel spreadsheet on your machine from ArcGIS Desktop? If so, try to navigate to the folder which contains any excel and add it to ArcGIS Desktop and try to open the table and see if you are able to read the columns and records of the spreadsheet. Also, in the screenshot that you had shared along with your question, could you show the entire gp log for the tool?

In ArcGIS desktop you can simply increase the field length without having to create a temporary field. The temporary field comes into play if you need to decrease the field size. Refer Modify field properties

Hi @SarahModlin , Can you check if you are signed in to your ArcGIS Online from ArcGIS Desktop? If you are logged in t ArcGIS Online from your desktop, you can see your folders (root folder & custom folders). Having said that, I would request you to kindly log into www.arcgis.com via your web browser and check if the account is a public account or an organizational account. If you have an organizational account you would be able to see the Organization tab on your web browser after you have logged in. I hope this helps.
