Hello Fabio, It sounds like a combination of multiple map layers with 'Visibility Range' can help display the points or polygons layers at the different scales. For viewing the related data, The Attribute Table can also show a selection of all related records. Here is the documentation for both: Display layers at certain scales—ArcGIS Pro | Documentation View related data—ArcGIS Pro | ArcGIS Desktop Hope this detail helps! -Adam

Here is what our Documentation says about applying a custom tiling scheme. "A vector tile service or tiling scheme file to be used if the service_type parameter is set to EXISTING. The tiling scheme tile size must be 512 by 512 and must have consecutive scales in a ratio of two." - https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/tool-reference/data-management/create-vector-tile-package.htm For vector tiles it's very important that the tiles have this 1:2 ratio. This ensures the levels of detail both Overlap and fit within the Root tile, (LOD 0 in this example). LOD 0 @ 5.91657527591555E8 LOD 1 @ 2.95828763795777E8 LOD 2 @ 1.47914381897889E8 Ect.... Note the Scales here are taken from the AGOL tiling scheme. The scale values are halved for each LOD, resulting in 4 tiles from every 1 tile of the preceding LOD. Hope this visual helps. -Adam Esri Support Services.

Hi John, Thank you for calling into support about this issue I was glad to take your call. I wanted to recap here for geonet some of our findings. In summary: We found the line is altered when its submitted to ArcGIS online because it is not meeting OGC standards for geometry. Quick Documentation notes: The apply Edits Documentation for the Rest API states "Any geometry edits made to the service are validated with OGC standards." OGC Standards can be found here- OGC Standards | OGC Here is how to use Esri software to determine the validity to the string presented in Json. A) Use Json to Feature to bring the Data into ArcGIS Pro. - Note the above format needed to be converted into GeoJson, We can use the Feature to Json to output a example of valid GeoJson file. Here is the linestring rendered in ArcGIS Pro. ( Feature vertices to points also indicates the vertex ordering) B) ArcGIS Pro, passing the feature layer to the Check Geometry tool using the OGC methodology, We find a Short Segments as an indicated problem. Because ArcGIS Online would want to validate this with OGC this feature would be considered invalid. Thus we would want to check our geometry, preferably with the Check Geometry tool, to ensure it is clean of errors before submitting it to ArcGIS Online. Additionally providing XY measurements with additional precision would help to minimize running into geometry errors. The resulting multistring we see in ArcGIS Online looks to be the result of the OGC validation cleaning up the errors. however the dropped z values is unexpected, a support defect was logged to address this. For any customers also running into this issue, please feel free to contact Esri Technical Support if you would like to have your account attached to bug record that was submitted. Ref BUG-000125529 Regards - Adam E Esri Technical Support.

Hello Halina, Yasser, I noticed this issue was the same as Clip layers not honored when printing or exporting I hope you don't mind if i post this here too. "" To recap, our support team was recently presented with this issue. A Project Package was provided that demonstrated this problem. We noticed the Clipping layer was in a group. Using the Zion National park sample from the ArcTutor Data , we put the park boundary in a group and clip was not upheld in the PDF export. Removing the group resolved the issue in the tests. If you're running into this problem please try ungrouping any problematic layers in the map, or feel free to contact Esri Technical Support if your still experiencing the issue or if you would like to have your account attached to bug record that was submitted. Hi Luis, Thank you for adding the note about the Pro registry key to this discussion and glad that helped. Oddly I did test switching my key to STANDARD, but was unable to replicate the error Drone2Map 1.3.2.232 + AGOL and ArcGIS Pro named User licencing model. I'm not positive this is the same issue Kelly Pilarski has encountered, I became aware a support ticket was created for them, and was resolved on Jan 23 by a provisioning file to authorize Drone2Map in Portal for ArcGIS. Luis, I'm curious how the ArcGIS Pro Registry is showing "STANDARD" Is that because Pro is using concurrent licencing and not named user? -Adam

Hi Rob, Is it possible to get the Feature Class and the Map to have matching Coordinate systems prior to publishing. When the systems match no transformations would not be necessary. Let me know if this suggestion helps or not. - Adam

Hi @Thomas Starnes, @Amanda Huber, @Dave Stewart, @Nava Sheer Because labeling is pretty intensive process, ArcGIS online indeed has very simple labeling parameters to keep the load on the browser light. I would normally suggest using ArcGIS Desktop to leverage the advanced labeling parameters then publishing a Hosted tile layer, That tile layer preserves the design as a raster, and can be used as a basemap reference. Obviously this output layer is static. So some kind of periodic overwrite workflow might help with updating that display if that's an option for you. As for utilizing the the options in ArcGIS online for labels: It sounds like one label that is not appearing at a country scale, does not have enough room. a few potential workarounds. - Applying a smaller text - Using a abbreviated attribute - Identifying the map objects graphically without text, like applying symbols and a legend - Leaving Labels off until zooming in - Rather consume and edit services In ArcGIS Pro to leverage desktop labels. As for Ideas, I've not seen any specifically regarding options for placement, and/or conflict detection for ArcGIS online if someone wanted to help get that conversation started, The following posts might help with that discussion aswell. More options/controls on labeling features on webmaps, such as scale dependency and stacking Dynamic Map Services in ArcGIS Online Custom Arcade Expression removes duplicate labels -Adam

Hey Adrian, It feels like we are getting off topic here, but you're curious about a single name you can try to invite them to a group in your organization, because organizations cannot have public users in group, it will throw an error, (After checking the backend) saying the name is from a public account. Kinda clunky, but I think this is the only way to publicly find out this information, Did anyone bring this up in Ideas?

Adrian, It's actually really easy to see. 1) When you sign into ArcGIS online, look up at the URL in the browser. - If it still reads "arcgis.com" this is a public account. - If it reads "<YourOrgShortnameHere>.maps.arcgis.com" we are logged into an organizational account. Organizational members should also remember either; activating the organization, or being invited to join a existing one.

Hi Alexander, A public ArcGIS Online does not have the ability to publish services (i.e make Hosted Services that live on "services.arcgis.com") It only has the ability to create items in my content (Content in ArcGIS.com) So you wouldn't be able to "Publish" the CSV, but you can add It to a map, It will create a Feature Layer (Feature Collection) as opposed to a Feature layer (Hosted) CSV, TXT, and GPX files—ArcGIS Online Help | ArcGIS

Thanks Richard, The status page was updated since my last post to indicate there is a performance issue with hosted services. our teams are working to resolve the issue now. Knowing your images are attachments to a Hosted layer (Via the Collector workflow) Having the images not appear, sounds like it could be related the issue here. Dan Allen demonstrated the 500 internal server error against Services 1 in the below post, this might be the same server you are on and same issue if so. Thank you guys for being proactive and letting us know. -Adam

Hello Richard, I didn't see any Performance interruptions on the system Health page. I would refer to the following article if you expect to experiencing a disruption. https://community.esri.com/groups/technical-support/blog/2018/05/01/how-to-report-an-arcgis-online-service-disruption This could be something contained in the Story Map, Can I ask: - What type of Story map is it? would you be able to share it? (If it's not public, and you can only share it with a group, can you invite my username, It's Eversole, I'll look to see if I can see what's going on) - When the app is refreshed, are the Images display randomly, or are they consistent but incorrectly placed? I hope to help. -Adam
