Hi I'm trying to make a serial chart in Dashboard which includes mean and the standard deviation as the image I attached, is this possible? The mean has already been estimated from Survey123. Thanks for the help and ideas. Cheers, Federico @VivekMalleshappa

Dear @DougBrowning and @Jim-Moore thanks so much for your input and help. I uploaded the XLSForm you send and works fine; however, if I want to hide these calculations from the form e.i. Value, Sum of Values, Count of Repeat (see image below, red arrow) the calculation goes to **bleep**. I try with "hidden" and "calculations" in the type column and also in the bind::esri:fieldType column I selected "esriFieldTypeInteger". But no luck, I don't why this is happening? Image 1: Image 2: when I use calculate in type column in row 8 Cheers, Federico

Hi, Is have been able to sum repeated question. However, I have an unresolved issue, I have 7 repeated integer questions, that I need to sum in order to estimate the mean. I used the count function so I can then estimate the mean = total sum / total count answer question. The problem is that not always the 7 repeated questions will have a response, so that value will be NA or 0. I try to use coalesce to solve this issue, but is not working. I don't want the 0 value counted in the count function towards estimating the mean. I have try to get around this issue. Example: coalesce(sum(${producto_1.1.1})+sum(${producto_1.1.2})+sum(${producto_1.1.3}),0).... or sum(coalesce(${producto_1.1.1},0))+sum(coalesce(${producto_1.1.2},0))..... I'm attaching the XLSForm @DougBrowning @IsmaelChivite Cheers, Federico

Hi @DougBrowning thanks for you response. I try this, but still have issues with the formatting and the sum of the repeats. When I choose "hidden" or "calculate" in the type column the calculation do not work. I can't upload my XLSForm here for some reason. Cheers, Federico

Hi Carmel, thanks for your post, very helpful. How can I make this work with select_one_external? I have a very long list of name code for sampling site (I used select_one_external) but I want I have an option so the survey users can add a new name code for a new sampling site. Thanks for your help. Cheers, Federico

Hi Zach, thanks so much for your help and input, this most needed by biologist and other researchers. The pulldata function option is probably the best, however, I wan't able to find an downloadable excel spreadsheet with this data on the web. I come across this calculation based on the date that I try to insert into XML Survey123 spreadsheet but without success: Phase = (((#DNOW#/2551442844-0.228535) +0.00591997sin(#DNOW#/5023359217+3.1705094) +0.017672776sin(#DNOW#/378923968-1.5388144) -0.0038844429sin(#DNOW#/437435791+2.0017235) -0.00041488sin(#DNOW#/138539900-1.236334))%1) link: Moon Phase formula - updated - Expression Help - FACER Community Thanks for the sample that hits a weather API based on a Geopoint location. Thanks again for you time and aid. Cheers, Federico

Dear Geogeeks, I'm trying to estimate the growth rate (kg Dry matter/ha/day) for a series of sampling sites within pastures field for cows. However, this examples may apply to anyone estimating growth rate in any field of science or industry. The pasture fields (dry matter in kg) are sampled with Survey123 once (date, same day of the week) a week ( 7 days a part) and the growth rate is estimate taking account last week value and current value divide by 7 days, see image below. Each row represents a pastures field, same pasture field is samples the following week in order to estimate the growth rate of dry matter for each pasture field. How can I bring back the data from last week in order to make this estimate? One of the field that I calculate in Survey123 is Number of Week. I figure out that I could do this by configuring Pop-Ups with Arcade Expressions. How can I write this in Arcade Expressions? Any ideas are welcome. Many thanks Federico

Hi Phil, thanks so much for your help. I'm was using a repeat to enter the set of values. In fact, area in ha for each sample is predefined and I have this data in a table in the media folder, and I used pulldata to bring the area data into the survey and it works wonderfully with your input. Indeed, as you said it was simple to create a xlsform expressions. Hope this help other colleagues in order to use sumproduct in Survey123. Cheers and take care Federico
