Our data is in an enterprise geodatabase (Sql Server 2019). The indicators work as expected with hosted feature layers on AGO.

Coming back to this --- the issue seems to be specific to services using ArcGIS Server. If I used a hosted feature layer in AGO, which contains the same features as those used in our ArcGIS Server service, the statistic indicators update as expected, while those using ArcGIS Server remain frozen. Indicators using Statistics with purple text in the right column use data from AGO, and update as expected. Indicators using Statistics with purple text in the left column use data from ArcGIS Server, and do NOT update. All other widgets (details, map, charts, indicators using Feature type) update as expected using AGO or ArcGIS Server services.

On my personal machine at home, I can confirm that the widgets update as expected when using Firefox, and remain as-is when using a Chromium based browser (Edge, Chrome). It seems like it may take a minute for some of the Indicator widgets to update in Firefox, but they do, as opposed to Edge or Chrome.

Hmmmm...I don't see "supportsQueryWithCacheHint" listed anywhere in the advanced query capabilities of the feature layer service JSON, shown below. Is this something that's only supposed to be available for hosted feature layers...? The service I'm using in the test dashboard (and most of our services) come from user managed data stores on ArcGIS Server, and is not a hosted feature layer. I do see the "supportsQueryWithCacheHint" property in one of our hosted feature layers, shown below. Is "cacheHint=true" baked into the request coming from the indicator then?

Figures ... the one browser I didn't test. Our IT department does not allow Firefox. Would you be able to test with either Edge or Chrome? We use Chrome for most all our testing, and is what I used to produce those screenshots.

We recently updated our enterprise environment to 10.9.1. Since updating, we've noticed that any of our dashboards that use Indicator widgets with Statistics (sum, count, average, etc...) do NOT update on auto-refresh of the dataset. All other widgets, including Indicators using Features appear to update as expected. We have created a test dashboard, which can be found here. A random number (between 10 and 200) of features are created every 10 minutes. There is one integer field within the dataset that is populated with a random value between 1 and 500. The indicator widgets with purple text are those using Statistics. These widgets never seem to update after loading the page. If the page is left open, the values remain the same, even after data is updated. The layer in the web map used for all the indicators is set to refresh every 0.2 minutes, and the last update text in each widget shows that it's working because it always says "a few seconds ago". Below are some screenshots to show that the indicator widgets are not updating, and using the source web map for the dashboard, what the values should be. This was not an issue when we were running 10.9. Is there any logical reason these widgets no longer appear to work at 10.9.1? Is it a bug? Is there a fix? It's incredibly frustrating that these widgets are not working at 10.9.1. Data update at 10:30am --- using the Statistics from the web map, the indicators using Statistics (purple text) should display these values. As you can see, none of them are correct. The bottom indicator is using Features. It is displaying the field value for OBJECTID equal to 1, and it is correct. Data update at 10:40am --- using the Statistics from the web map, the indicators using Statistics (purple text) should display these values. As you can see, none of them are correct. The bottom indicator is using Features. It is displaying the field value for OBJECTID equal to 1, and it is correct. The indicators using Statistics (purple text) remain the same after data re-generation. Data update at 10:50am --- using the Statistics from the web map, the indicators using Statistics (purple text) should display these values. As you can see, none of them are correct. The bottom indicator is using Features. It is displaying the field value for OBJECTID equal to 1, and it is correct. The indicators using Statistics (purple text) remain the same after data re-generation.

We recently updated our Enterprise system to 10.9.1, and have noticed that indicator widgets are not always returning correct values. I have double-checked that the layer in the web map has a refresh interval, and it does, which is set to 0.5 minutes. The table in the web map shows correct data. If I preview the table in the dashboard, the data is correct. However, the indicator value is NOT correct. Below is an example. We have a table where I could use either the row count or max ID value to return the number of rows within the table. In this example, the value should be 18. The indicator widget does not seem to update though. If I refresh the page, the correct value will show, but if we leave the page open, the indicator value never seems to change on it's own as it should. There are more than one indicator widgets where this seems to occur in our dashboard. Any reason why this would no longer seem to work in 10.9.1...? The dataset within the web map is a feature layer published from ArcGIS Server, it is not versioned, and is not archived. I have also noticed the issue with indicators seems to be specific when using "Statistic" as the Value Type. If I use "Feature" as the Value Type, it seems to auto-refresh as expected.

I ran the "Configure ArcGIS Server Account" tool, and that seemed to have cleared our issue. As I mentioned, the Server was running just fine prior to update, so I'm not really sure why this would've cleared up the issue ... but, maybe it will work for others who have a similar problem.

We are attempting to upgrade one of our Servers from 10.9 to 10.9.1, and are getting the error message below on post-install. OS is Windows Server 2019. Server was working just fine prior to update, the service account has permissions in all the necessary places. Any ideas what to look at to fix this issue?

@Anonymous User : Below are some screenshots from a test: 1) The custom HTML shown in Notepad++ for readability 2) The custom HTML copy/pasted into the pop-up (bracketed in green) 3) If I click OK to accept the pop-up, then go back in to edit the custom HTML, this is what I see, a couple things of note: The table is automatically wrapped in a <figure> element The "color: red" attribute from the first <td> element is missing The "font-weight: bold" attribute has been automatically re-assigned to <strong> The "color: yellow" attribute from the second <td> element is missing The "font-size: 18px" attribute from the second <td> element is missing

I saw the most recent update to the new Map Viewer in AGO supports custom HTML, however I've noticed that in-line styling doesn't seem to work as expected if I'm using a table element. Below is an example. If I try to add a second style to the in-line style, setting the font color to red, this style does not hold and disappears when I go back to look at the HTML view. 1 - Add the style 2 - View the custom pop-up --- font color is not red. 3 - Look at the custom HTML again --- the color tag is no longer there. It does seem to work as expected for other elements though, for example, divs, as shown below. Is there any reason that table are treated differently? Is it because they are automatically placed within a <figure> element?

I'm trying to automate some item usage statistics within ArcGIS Online, and have had success with a hosted feature layer, but am not getting any usage return for a hosted vector tile layer. The first screenshot below is the usage report I see in ArcGIS Online for the hosted vector tile layer in question. The second screenshot below is the return I get from the Python API for the item, which is nothing. The Python API is using '1Y' as the 'date_range' parameter, and the epoch times in the API return are correct. Is there any reason this particular item would not return anything in the Python API?

I appreciate the help! A few more follow-ups: I'm still a little uncertain about how every piece communicates if deployed on AWS. We currently have a distributed installation of Enterprise, with each component on a dedicated VM server. Would we be looking at one EC2 machine with multiple VMs or one EC2 machine for each Enterprise component? Along the same lines as above for desktop machines, is it one WorkSpace powering many desktops, or one WorkSpace per desktop? Does AWS automatically handled OS updates/migrations, for example Windows Server 2016 to 2019 or is that on the user? Thanks again!
