Hi Rhett, Yes, in your example the annotation is rotating with the map frame as expected. I believe the request was to have the annotation rotation adjust accordingly based on the map rotation of the current map sheet. My interpretation of this is to basically keep the text horizontal regardless of the map rotation. As far as I know, this cannot be done with though the UI. Tom

Hi Lauren, Unlike labels, annotation will not automatically update based on map rotation. You will need to edit the angle property of each annotation accordingly. For more information see https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/help/data/annotation/annotation.htm For your case, I would suggest creating a new point feature class that has a field(s) with the text you want to display and using labels instead of annotation. Give the point a null symbol so it does not draw. Hope this helps, Tom For a similar thread see https://community.esri.com/t5/arcgis-pro-questions/is-it-possible-to-rotate-labels-in-layout-mode/td-p/471315

Hi Sujan, I see service layer credits text appearing in the bottom left corner of the map frame. This tells me you have a service layer in your map. It is possible that the service layer has scale dependencies set and will not draw at certain scales. You might want to change the map scale of the map frame to test this. You can do this by either activating the map frame and using the mouse to zoom in/out, or you can change the scale by using the scale control at the bottom left of the layout view window. Clearing your cache may also help. If the problems persists can you contact Esri Support? They are better equipped to handle troubleshooting steps and gather bug data. They can be contacted at https://support.esri.com/en/contact-tech-support. Hope this helps. Tom

Hi Justin, I'm not aware of any selection issues concerning layout elements (ex: text, legend, scale bar, map frames, etc...). Without more information, such as what elements you are working with (do they overlap?), the steps taken before encountering the bug (are you using the ribbon command to deselect elements?), or the state of the layout (ex: is a map frame active?, are the elements locked?). The problem you are running into may be specific to your data/workflow. Can you contact Esri Support? They are better equipped to handle troubleshooting steps and gather bug data. They can be contacted at https://support.esri.com/en/contact-tech-support. Thanks, Tom

Hi Tyler, Though there is no UI for this you can use ArcPy.mp (python) to create a thematic map series. There is a sample available at https://www.arcgis.com/home/item.html?id=eba53351ceb84b58b505dec5272e526c. Hope this is what you're looking for. Tom

Hi GrantCountyGISSup, You could be running to an issue where the insert map frame control is unable to populate the bitmaps for the preview. I unaware of any known issue like this. This may be specific to the maps and scenes you have in your project. Without more information it would be difficult to adequately troubleshoot this. Can you contact Esri Support? They are better equipped to handle troubleshooting steps and gather bug data. They can be contacted at https://support.esri.com/en/contact-tech-support. Thanks, Tom

Hi James, Based on your description I would say this is a different issue than BUG-000150818. I'm not aware of any issues with inserting a picture using the Insert Picture command from the ribbon. I have tested this quite a bit using ArcGIS Pro 3.0. It is possible that there is something specific about your data/file structure/workflow that we did not account for in our testing. Without additional information I cannot even guess at what the problem might be. Please contact support at https://support.esri.com/en/contact-tech-support. We will keep an eye out. Thanks! Tom

Hi Kassie, I was able to reproduce the issue when I: 1. Changed the active tool to the Navigate 2. Changed the tool back to Select Snapping was no longer working. If I toggled the snapping button at the bottom of the view, as I described above, I could get snapping to work. Without additional information I cannot tell you why this workaround does not work in your case. Can you contact Esri Support? They are better equipped to handle troubleshooting steps. They can be contacted at https://support.esri.com/en/contact-tech-support. Thanks, Tom

Hi Barbara, There is no setting outside of a combination of the selected table frame Fitting Strategy and the set font sizes for heading and rows that would automatically scale the size of the text as you increase/decrease the selection box of the table frame element. With a fitting strategy of either Adjust font size or Adjust columns and font size the size of the text will only resize within a range set by the Minimum font size in the table frame properties under the Arrangement tab and the "max" font size for the heading and the rows found under the Display tab of the table frame properties. When resizing the table frame with an "adjust font" fitting strategy the font size will be restricted between this minimum and maximum value. For example, in the screenshot below the the fitting strategy is Adjust font size with a minimum font size of 14 pt. The set size for the Heading and Rows text is 36 pt. With these settings I would expect the font size to be between 14 and 36 pt. Hope this helps, Tom

Hi Barry, Thanks for the additional info. I'm now able to reproduce you issue. Seems that snapping is getting disabled with the active tool change to the (Layout) Navigate. I will enter an internal issue. You can get snapping to work again by turning snapping off and then back on after you make the (Layout) Select tool active. From the help topic "Set up your layout": Thanks! Tom

Hi Barry, I not aware of any existing snapping issue with ArcGIS 3.0. It appears that once you saved and reopened the project the issue went away. Perhaps this is an issue that only occurs on project initialization? Can you contact Esri Support? They are better equipped to handle troubleshooting steps and gather bug data. They can be contacted at https://support.esri.com/en/contact-tech-support. Thanks, Tom

Hi Richard, Currently, there are no options in the UI that "hides" the table frame when the current map series page map extent does not include any features applicable to the table. This is something we would like to do in the future. Thanks, Tom
