Good morning. The attached xlxs creates a survey containing nested groups. I'm trying to apply a theme-grid style, but getting lots of inconsistencies in the form display. Field 3 and Field 4 should display in one row with the same width. Selecting A in Select Field should open a group with two additional fields (Field 1a and Field 1b) in the same row, both of the with the same width as well. I'll appreciate any feedback in this regard. Thanks. Javier

I have a web map that contains a hosted feature services that includes four different layers (see attachment): Photos (attachments enabled) Sketch Points (attachments disabled) Sketch Lines (attachments disabled) Sketch Polygons (attachments disabled) For some reason I can select my features for this service in Collector Classic, but not in the new version. Other hosted feature services with a single layer work as expected. Please advise. Javier

Thanks for the prompt response Zhifang. I understand the workflow you are suggesting, but my word document is simply referencing ${Grants}. Please confirm it will be OK replacing it with ${_2020_Prescribed_Fire_Grant_Application_MASTER.Grants}. If that is the case, I'll give it a try. Also FYI, I'm not using repeats in this survey, and producing the reports directly off Survey123.com, although my step is to generate them through the API. Thanks again. Javier

Thanks Zhifang. To answer your question, 2020_Prescribed_Fire_Grant_Application_MASTER is a layer name while only Grants is a field name. However, I believe the issue is related with the name of the layer itself starting with a number, since, although the actual name in the survey is 2020_Prescribed_Fire_Grant_Application_MASTER, it has been saved in AGOL as _2020_Prescribed_Fire_Grant_Application_MASTER. As a workaround I've done the following: Export the layer to my computer Rename the feature class to (Prescribed_Fire_GRANT_2020_Application_MASTER) , the relationship class (Prescribed_Fire_Grant_2020_Application_MASTER__ATTACHREL), and the attachments table (Prescribed_Fire_Grant_2020_Application_MASTER__ATTACH) ZIP the resulting geodatabase and upload it back to AGOL to create an independent hosted feature layer (Prescribed_Fire_Grant_2020_Application_REPORT) Create a copy of the Survey and name it Prescribed_Fire_Grant_2020_Application_REPORT Update the XLXS form to add a submission URL that points to the new hosted feature layer At this point I'm able to generate the report without any issues. I can't really wait for this to be resolved, so I'm glad the steps mentioned above have worked so far. I'm not sure about the attachments though, so we'll see. The bad news is that the layer will no longer be connected to the original data source. This is not important in my case, but definitely a minus. Taking all my feedback above, could you confirm it the fact the the service was created where the name starts with a number might be the origin of the issue. If affirmative, it would be good to either allow it in the future, or make sure Survey123 Connect prevents users from creating reports under this circumstances. Thanks a lot for getting back with me. Javier

I'm trying to run reports from a custom template, but keep getting errors for every field I reference. Error occurred when rendering by the report engine. Failed to parse ${2020_Prescribed_Fire_Grant_Application_MASTER.Grants}. Please advise.

Thanks for the suggestion James. However, I am relaying on three forms per group, thus, will have to republish a total of 30 surveys (10 groups total) every time there is an update. FYI these updates would be frequent due to the fact that some dropdowns need to be updated periodically due to the addition of locations. Just for reference, we are dealing with Points of Distribution that are set up as needed. Also keep in mind each form is very specific and I wasn't able to develop them in a way that every scenario fit in a single form. Thanks. Javier

My hosted feature layer contains multiple date fields and I'd like to define which one should be use with the date selector. Is this possible? Thanks. Javier

We'd like to add a condition where the inbox will only retrieve records entered by members of a particular group, rather than by username. The number of users may increase or decrease frequently, and we'd like to avoid republishing the survey every time there is an update. Is this possible?

I have hosted feature service that contains the feature layer and two related tables (table 1 and table 2), all of them created through Survey123(table 1 is related to table 2 as a nested repeat). My idea is to join the feature layer with table 1 (ONE TO MANY: feature layer globalid - table 1 parentglobalid), to create Join Feature Layer, and then join Join Feature Layer, with table 2 (ONE TO MANY: table1 globalid - table2 parentglobalid), so that I can have a flat table that can be queried in Operations Dashboard. I also need to update this table dynamically as new records are being entered or existing ones are modified. The join analysis tool allows me to create the first join as expected, but doesn't allow me to check "Create results as hosted feature layer view" for the second. I imagine because at this point and trying to create a hosted view out a a hosted view. Any suggestions or workarounds will be highly appreciated. Thanks. Javier

I have created a Feature Layer (hosted, view) by creating a dynamic join between a hosted feature layer and its related table (produced with Survey123). I then built a dashboard that looks into this table, but the date selector is not providing an option to select the date field I'd like to query. In my case I have multiple date fields (available, assigned, scheduled, received, and distributed). Please advice. Javier

It would add a lot of value to provide an option where I can decide whether I'd like to sort a category selector list by label or category in the category selector. The current implementation requires me to go into the service and make adjustments or add a field to take care of this, which doesn't make sense, specially when the data has been generated with Survey123.

Correct James. By the way. I figured out the issue. My survey had three fields that were named with reserved words (Organization, Group, and State). These fields were flag, so I looked at the validation error from Excel and eureka. However, given the ripple effects, it was a bit disappointing that Connect allowed me to publish. What are your thoughts on this? Let me know if you'd like me to post this same message in the Early Adopter Community. Thanks for following up.
