Thank you Robert for you previous reply. I also have additional question: Im trying to add .dwg file as attachment but i get this error: "This file type is not supported." should i do something for it to work? currently the WAB language is linked to the portal settings language. But is it possible to add a button in WAB to toggle between different languages? Thanks again

Thank you Derek for your previous reply, it was very helpful and the upgrade was successful Now I will do the same again to 10.5, but this time I need to change the domain name of the server as well. Any tips for this? is there anything i should be careful with? I read that the ArcGIS Server will automatically detect a machine name change or domain change and reconfigure the site to use the new one. But what about the portal? should i go through each webmap / web app and change the services one by one?

Hi Paul, yeah i definitely cleared the cache many times. Next time for sure we should remove sharing of any item before deleting it. I hope someone has a solution for this.

Thank you pk_davidson and Derek Law for your replies. i have also faced the following issue in the portal home page items: I had a story map tour working fine and shared with the "featured maps and apps" group and it is appearing on the home page item list. I deleted this item, and now the home page is still showing a blank box that leads to this app (eve though this app doesn't exist any more). if i search for the app i can still find it as well, i cant open it, i cant view the item details, i cannot do anything to it because it does not exist. How can i permanently delete it from the home page? it is really annoying to show a blank box. Thanks again

Thank you carmelconnollytemp for your reply. it is sorted by date and not ascending. yes i am the admin yes i tried to create another group and it worked fine but i need to fix it for the featured content since all the members are already in this group and i prefer not to invite them all to the new group. any thoughts?

Hello, i have around 16 apps that i am sharing with the "featured maps and apps" group in order to show them on my home page. Every time i open the home page i get a different order of the apps, even sometimes i get more or less items than the ones i shared. Did anyone ever face this issue? im using portal for arcgis 10.5

Hello, What I am trying to do is to show different items on the home page based on the group member who is signed in. Example: Group 1 can see items A B C D E F Group 2 can see items A B C Group 3 can see B D F Group 4 can see A B E etc.. and sometimes the items can be related, meaning for example item F is the webmap of the item A how is this possible?

Hello, I have a web appbuilder with editing widget. And I have a Feature class with attachment enabled. I want to attach a .dwg file (autocad), but I have this message "This file type is not supported." I also tried to make it as .rar file but it was also not supported. Is there any workaround to add an autocad file as attachment? Thank you
