Hi @YRP_GIS, I realize you posted this question over a year ago, but this just came to my attention - so I am posting a reply in case other community members see this thread. > .... if ArcGIS Monitor is able to track if a user has clicked on a pop-up in a Dashboard or Experience Builder application? ArcGIS Monitor does not currently track this behavior. ArcGIS Monitor collects metrics on ArcGIS Enterprise system health, performance, and resource usage - for ArcGIS and its infrastructure. It does not collect detailed usage within a web app like ArcGIS Dashboard of ArcGIS Experience Builder app. Sorry. Hope this helps,

ArcGIS Monitor provides observability by collecting metrics on the health, performance, and usage of your enterprise GIS. It is designed to help administrators and managers ensure their ArcGIS Enterprise deployments are working efficiently by reducing and preventing system downtime, resulting in operational cost savings. If you’re currently using ArcGIS Enterprise in your day-to-day work and want a way to optimize your deployments performance and health, then this blog is for you. Great introductory blog by @JustinBrassard from Esri Canada. What is ArcGIS Monitor? A beginner’s overview Additionally, in ArcGIS Monitor 2025.1 (the latest release) you can visualize relationships and dependencies of your enterprise GIS assets using component relationship graphs. Hi @WalterSimonazzi_VicPol, > Is there a way to configure Monitor to track this service and alert us when it is not functioning as expected? This is difficult to assess, as it will depend on what the SOE does. A guess is that it does something which prevents data being properly written to the ArcGIS Server usage reports - which is partly where ArcGIS Monitor gets some metrics. Please contact Esri Tech Support and open a case so they can help investigate further. Hope this helps,

Hi @MichaelBartlett, The behavior you're seeing is expected. > 1) When I go to My.esri.com to download the software, the Agent is labeled 2025.1.1 "ArcGIS Monitor Agent (Windows) 2025.1.1" but the ArcGIS Server exe's do not "ArcGIS Monitor Server (Windows)" For the ArcGIS Monitor 2025.1.1 patch, we only released an update for ArcGIS Monitor Agent. There was no update for ArcGIS Monitor Server. > 2) Then when I installed the ArcGIS Monitor Server, and go to Administration, Licensing. The license just says "25.0" FYI, the ArcGIS Monitor license file is only updated at every major release (e.g., 2024, 2025, 2026, etc.). It is not updated for minor or patch releases (e.g., 2025.1, 2025.1.1, etc.) > They make it a big deal in the documentation that the server and the agent need to match The statement refers to same major/minor release version of Monitor, not patches. We will work on improving the help documentation. > ... but as far as I can tell there is no way to see what version of Monitor you are using. You can check which release of ArcGIS Monitor you're using by logging into the web app, then clicking your profile in the upper right corner of the app. The release version will be shown underneath the account name. You can also check the Agent versions under the Monitoring page > Agents subtab. Hope this helps,

Hi @GrantSmith122 , Please contact Esri Tech Support and open a case so they can help you investigate your upgrade issue. It's difficult to assist without getting more detailed information about exactly what you did to perform the upgrade process. > Is that a database parameter that I need to remove before upgrading? Nope this is not part of the upgrade process.

Hi @DavidColey, > I do not see the specific issue I reported on initially in the release notes for 2025.1 In my previous post, I said there was a workaround for your reported issue and two feature enhancements have been logged to help address it. These have been added to the Dev backlog. I did NOT say the issue was fixed in the Monitor 2025.1 release, so it is not listed in the release notes. Hope this helps,

Hi @MikaelJ, > When we can expect this to be patched? Please see my latest post at the end of this thread. > This breaks all of the monitoring in my deployment. As far as we're aware, this issue only causes data to not be collected from ArcGIS Server components. It does not affect other components. If you are seeing something else, please contact Esri Tech Support so they can investigate further. Hope this helps,
