Hi @MarcoBoeringa, > The thumbnail images in that original Dutch article don't enlarge to full resolution images, which makes them unusable, as the contents can hardly be seen and understood. I didn't author the blog so I'm unable to update the thumbnail images. While they are blurry, you can still view the general structure of the component relationship diagrams. They look similar to this, Monitor_Nov25_Fig4.png The selected component is on the left and its associated components are on the right. If you would like to learn more about component relationship graphs in ArcGIS Monitor, please review this blog. Hope this helps,

In an era where organizations are becoming increasingly dependent on geographic information, the reliability of ArcGIS Enterprise plays a crucial role. Map services must always be available, data streams must be accurate, and users expect fast performance, whether they are citizens, employees, or supply chain partners. But how do you maintain control over an IT landscape that is becoming both extensive and complex? ArcGIS Monitor offers the solution for this. With the release of ArcGIS Monitor 2025.1, Esri takes another major step in professionalizing enterprise GIS management. This version introduces improved insights, updated dependency analysis, and powerful capabilities for custom monitoring. Note: article is written in Dutch, but can be easily translated in a web browser. Hi @Bryan_krg, Which release of ArcGIS Monitor are you using? > all the metrics appear to fine in ArcGIS Monitor so it's just this error that appears every 5mins in the logs. Please contact Esri Tech Support and they can help you investigate further. I wonder if this might be a bug.

Hi @MohamedIsmailIssaMohamed, I wrote a couple of introductory technical articles for ArcUser magazine that might be helpful: 1. ArcGIS for Server 101 2. Portal for ArcGIS 101 They are several years old, but they're still relevant and convey some key technical fundamentals about ArcGIS Enterprise. Hope this helps,

Bringing a new system administrator up to speed isn’t a quick process. In many organisations, it can take months before someone feels comfortable navigating an ArcGIS Enterprise deployment, and even longer before they’re fully productive. That challenge becomes even larger when the person stepping into the role doesn’t come from a geospatial background, which is more common than you might think. This blog by Esri partner Onneer discusses how ArcGIS Monitor helps new administrators by enabling observability for ArcGIS Enterprise deployments. What new ArcGIS Enterprise administrators need to see first Onner_Blog_Monitor_Graphic.png

Hi @meloking_PNM, When you have the enterprise portal selected under the Monitoring tab, then navigate to the Catalog subtab, do you see a list of web apps and/or web maps for the portal? On the portal's Overview subtab, under the Active sessions and Active sessions time charts, do you see web apps and web maps listed? Navigate to the Observers subtab, then run the Inventory Observer manually (click the ellipsis button > View observer details > Run Observer). Wait a few minutes, then run the Sessions Observer manually. Monitor should start to collect metrics now. Hope this helps,

Hi @Bryan_krg, To confirm, this error message was reported in a collected ArcGIS Server component log, is that correct? Have you checked the ArcGIS Monitor logs (under the Administration tab > Logs subtab) and checked around the same timeframe? There might be some helpful information on those logs. Hope this helps,

All, It would be helpful to open an Esri Tech Support case so they can take a closer look at your system environments to try and better understand the cause(s) of this behavior. Perhaps they might find a condition/cause of the random component disconnection.

Hi @BillFox, I'm not sure what the issue is. Yes, that link is correct. I generated a tinyURL for the document, then shared it on Linked In first. My guess is, the Linked In site replaced the tinyURL with a custom Linked In shortcut - but it works for me. FYI, the original tinyURL: http://tinyurl.com/3tp7yd3j Hope this helps,
