At this time, there are no plans to enable ArcGIS Monitor to support logins using the enterprise portal identity store. This is not a good approach. The purpose of ArcGIS Monitor is to collect metrics on the system health and performance of ArcGIS Enterprise. If Monitor's logins were based on the enterprise portal identity store, then if portal were to become unavailable, this would affect Monitor. This is not a system architecture best practice. Monitor needs to be independent and separate from the components it is monitoring. So if portal were to become unavailable, Monitor would still continue to work and can inform admins the exact time when portal went offline. FYI, we do have in the Dev backlog to support alternate login authentication options such as SAML, IWA and LDAP. Hope this helps,

Hi @KatelynJenkinsgm, > Does this usage capability track the specific usernames accessing the web maps/apps? Yes, you can view users associated with each session. But we're still working on providing more detailed reporting metrics based on users in a future release. Hope this helps,

ArcGIS Monitor provides observability by collecting metrics on the health, performance, and usage of your enterprise GIS. It is designed to help system administrators and GIS managers ensure their ArcGIS Enterprise deployments and underlying infrastructure are working efficiently. Monitor helps reduce and prevent system downtime, resulting in operational cost savings. This release continues to expand information collected for web apps and web maps in enterprise portals. A new observer that collects session information was added to both the enterprise portal and ArcGIS Server component types. They scan enterprise portal and ArcGIS Server web server logs for usage information on web apps and web maps. Learn more in the What's New in ArcGIS Monitor 2026.0 release blog.

Hi @Hannah24, > Does ArcGIS Monitor 2026.0 is compatible with ArcGIS Server 10.8.1? It is possible to register an ArcGIS Server 10.8.1 site with ArcGIS Monitor 2026.0, but it is NOT a supported version. So if there are any issues, Esri Tech Support will not help to address them. FYI, ArcGIS Monitor 2026.0 has not been certified to work with ArcGIS Server 10.8.1. Register ArcGIS Server help topic Also be aware that ArcGIS Server 10.8.1 will move to retired status in August 2026. I suggest you upgrade your Server site. FYI, Some ArcGIS Monitor users have shared their enterprise GIS system architecture, how they've used Monitor with it, which KPIs they watch and why they help in the ArcGIS Monitor user group meetings. I know this is not exactly what @RoderickPerendy originally asked for, but the videos are a great resource. Hope this helps,

Hi @HIROAKIYUHARA, > GeoEvent Server was retired in version 12.3 Just to clarify for other users who read your comment: ArcGIS Enterprise 12.1 was just released last week. The final release of ArcGIS GeoEvent Server will be the ArcGIS Enterprise 12.3 release (expected in May 2027). ArcGIS GeoEvent Server will continue to be supported as outlined in the ArcGIS Enterprise product life cycle for those versions. FYI, Announcement: Deprecation of ArcGIS GeoEvent Server > Will Velocity be added to the list of monitored services in the future? Yes. On the dev roadmap, we're planning for ArcGIS Monitor 2026.1 to support collecting data for ArcGIS Velocity on-premise and the spatialtemportal data store. Hope this helps,
