Following the instructions here, I've created maps to be used with Collector that use related tables to keep inspection reports. This is done by using a relationship class referencing each objects' GUIDs. It's very easy with collector to select a feature, and then create new inspection reports from the related table. Is there a way to do this in either ArcMap or ArcGIS Pro?

Good to know. I'll have to keep that in mind when it comes time to upgrade. Thanks.

Just throwing this out there for the developers. I just finished Getting to Know ArcGIS Pro. Chapter 8 deals with rendering temporal data in 3D. While browsing the map to review the 3D layers, ArcGIS Pro was using 12 GB of system memory. I thought that seemed a bit high. I'm using a Dell OptiPlex 7010, which isn't the mightiest of computers, and maybe this wouldn't be an issue if I had a better graphics card. Either way it may be something to look into. Thanks.

I'm having the same issue. According to this site, (http://gps.dualav.com/xgps150-downloads/) the latest firmware version for this device is 1.3.4.

Sorry, it was so long ago and I'm kind of fuzzy on the details. I probably deleted the dataset and started from scratch.

So, if I were to add user accounts for all of my field collectors, and I don't have Desktop licenses for them, would I have to purchase ArcGIS Online licenses for those users?

I'd like my organization's field workers to enter data using the Collector app for ArcGIS Online. We're using ArcGIS Online based on our Desktop licenses. Would we have to purchase additional licenses for our field workers to log in and use the app?

Not really. The LGIM uses a geometric network for it's water and sewer pipes, and I couldn't just append my lines into the network. I had several other issues with the geometric network so I just deleted it. Once it was deleted though I was able to append my lines normally. Down side is I can't use advanced tools like the Leak Isolation tool.

Desktop is 10.2.2 and server is either 10.2 or 10.2.2. That kind of makes sense since I'm doing this on the WaterDistribution data set in ESRI's Local Government Information Model, which has a geometric network for water pipes. But if I register the data set and then enable archiving, I won't be able to sync the data offline as the data set has to be unregistered to work. But their documentation uses offline data on these data sets.

In order to enable offline sync I need to enable archiving on an unregistered data set, but when I un-register the dataset I'm unable to enable archiving. The menu option is grayed out and when I try using the geotool I get an error, Cannot Enable Archiving on a Non-Simple data set. Does anyone know how I can "simplify" my data set? Thanks.

Thanks for your help. I found the view and wrote a new report referencing it instead of the database table. Works just like I want it to.

It seems that when I delete features in SDE, they remain in the database. I built a quick damage assessment application that consists of the following steps: Field teams collect points Geoprocess deletes all existing Damaged Parcels output features using the Delete Features tool (to prevent duplicates when appending data) Spatial join the collected points with parcel polygons - output is Damaged Parcels Run Excel report that queries SQL on Damaged Parcels to generate FEMA form I have steps 2 & 3 run in a geoprocess, but I've found that even after deleting the features, the data still shows up in my report. I verified this in SQL Server Management Studio. Because I'm using the data offline, the feature set is not versioned, but archiving is enabled. As a workaround I execute a delete query in SQL before running my report so that it comes out clean. Is there a way to run my delete query in Model Builder so I can incorporate it into my geoprocess?
