There absolutely needs to be functionality to allow us to filter data by either a variable or an Arcade expression in the Web Map.

I'm working with the June updated Road Closures solution, and it's doing things that I'd like to replicate. It seems that it's creating a custom symbology for features based on the date. So, Road Blocks where the End Date is on or before the current date are 50% transparent. This is great because editors can clearly identify old data. The built-in filter doesn't support date variables or fields based on Arcade expressions, so you can't do this with conventional tools. I can't figure out how to replicate that though. It doesn't appear in the symbology settings. I've reviewed the Arcade expressions in the popup configuration, which does return values based on the date, but I don't see anything specific to symbols, just the popup. Also, the public views of the Road Closures layer somehow filters features based on the End Date, but it doesn't use the filter. I think it uses a View Definition, but I can't view the View Definition because the web map can't parse the query. The point is, our Public Works department would like another layer added to the map for Road Work Areas, and I'd like it to behave the same as the other layers, but I just can't figure out how they work. I created the Road Work layer using the same data structure as the other layers, and copied the arcade expressions for the popup. The rest is a complete mystery to me. Anyone have any ideas?

When creating an incident using the Situational Awareness widget, you have to repeatedly specify the attribute information for each layer that you're creating. It would be great if when you save incident locations you could enter these details in one window, and have them apply to all of the features that you're creating, kind of like how the Smart Editor lets you specify predefined values, or how the Batch Attribute Editor lets you update fields in multiple features. Thanks!

I'm testing out Attribute Rules in ArcGIS Pro by using calculation rules to auto-fill fields in a street address table. I have rules to use intersecting features to calculate parcel ID, city, and zip code. I also have rules to use the street number, prefix, street name, suffix, directional suffix, and unit number fields to fill the full street name, and full address fields. Everything works great when creating new address point features, and when changing the geometry of existing features, but I get an error when I try to change the attributes of an existing feature, "Arcade error: Geometry Type Expected". Does anyone know I might be able to correct this?

Thanks for the response. Let's say that I design it in such a way that Collector creates the point feature. Do you know if there's a way for Collector to automatically trigger a Survey123 form to edit the attributes of that point? Like, can they drop a point in Collector, save it, and then have Collector automatically switch to Survey123 to edit that feature, and then switch back to Collector after it's saved?

I was looking to deploy some Emergency Management solutions (Hurricane Season is coming), and noticed that they require ArcGIS Enterprise 10.7, which just came out like a couple weeks ago. We're on 10.6.1, and using the Solution Deployment tool in ArcGIS Pro it just won't let me deploy a solution, and it won't let me select an older version that my environment does support. You can't just download the solutions anymore either, you have to use the add-in. I don't know about you, but most places wait at least a few months before upgrading any enterprise application to ensure stability. Why not wait a while before adding a hard requirement that you be on the latest environment so that the world can adopt the solutions at their own pace? Or at the very least, why not add a patch that would allow 10.6.1 environments to support the new solutions without having to perform a complete upgrade?

Current I'm using the Feature Class to Feature Class GP tool in Model Builder, but this occurs when using Append or Merge tools as well. I'm not having this issue in ArcMap Model Builder.

I've kind of had this issue for the last few versions of ArcGIS Pro. When trying to perform an operation such as Append or Merge that uses the field mapper, the field mapper doesn't retain the modifications that I specified. For example, if I change a field from "Prefix" to "ROADPREDIR", when I click away the mapper reverts to "Prefix". To work around this, I've had to use the Alter Field tool for each field that I'd like to change when migrating data. I'm not sure if this is a bug or what. Just putting this out there.

I have an old application that unfortunately still requires shapefiles for its mapping data. I ported a GP model from ArcMap to Pro, and now I'm having trouble processing shapefiles in the programs data converter. When I export the shapefiles from ArcMap, I don't have any trouble converting the data. I've tried using both the Copy Features tool and the Feature Class to Shapefile script in Pro, and it still crashes. I'm just wondering, does Pro do something different with shapefiles that could be causing this program to crash?

Following the instructions here, I've created maps to be used with Collector that use related tables to keep inspection reports. This is done by using a relationship class referencing each objects' GUIDs. It's very easy with collector to select a feature, and then create new inspection reports from the related table. Is there a way to do this in either ArcMap or ArcGIS Pro?

Just throwing this out there for the developers. I just finished Getting to Know ArcGIS Pro. Chapter 8 deals with rendering temporal data in 3D. While browsing the map to review the 3D layers, ArcGIS Pro was using 12 GB of system memory. I thought that seemed a bit high. I'm using a Dell OptiPlex 7010, which isn't the mightiest of computers, and maybe this wouldn't be an issue if I had a better graphics card. Either way it may be something to look into. Thanks.

I'm having the same issue. According to this site, (http://gps.dualav.com/xgps150-downloads/) the latest firmware version for this device is 1.3.4.
