Hi Phil I found a solution.... I added the equation I had in the relevant column '${surveytype}="Fauna" or ${surveytype}="Flora"' to the body::esri:visible column and that seem to have solved my issue.

I am seeing something similar in 3.13.239 If I have a relevant applied and it meets that critera then the default value isnt applied. Remove the relevant entirely then the value IS applied

Hi Phil Do you have an exmaple on how you would achieve this? For example the extract of a table used in a pulldata function has multiple common names. If a user picks a common name that is not unique I would like to show a warning in a Note or something to show them the unique sub species or scientifc name to ensure they pick the right species. Hi All I have noticed some wierd behaviour since the latest update. I have a form (launched from Explorer/Field Maps) that has a number of questions Grouped and the appearance set to table list and some of these are populated from data in a feature layer. Up until the latest survey123 field app update this has been working fine. Since then however when the form is opened from Explorer the fields are popoulated yet all the labels disappear. Yet if I open the form directly from Survey123 the labels are there (see images attached) As I said this has only occured since the latest update. Any idea on what has happened here? Thanks Phil! I owe you a beverage ... or 3! It was that gepoint questions. I removed the first null one, published, added it back in republished and all is right with the world again! When I first created the form on portal I didnt have the null geopoint question, that was added some time after. So thats why a straight copy and publish to AGOL caused the problem. Thank you very much for your rapid reponse.

Hi Phil Thanks for the prompt reply. Log file atatched. I created a copy of the Survey using the "Save As" option in Connect. I just tried create a version from file, published but still the same error. I'll have a look at the other things you pointed out as it might/must be something in there. Why would it work in Portal and not AGOL? Just in regards the first geopoint question being null. I did it that way as it needs to be because that grabs the device location and is only used it the select location is other and therefore there is no coordinates to use from the pulldata. So it needs to be before the "final" geopoint questions doesnt it?

HI I have a form that I built in our Enterprise Portal for testing and development and has been working fine, records submit without an issue. I just made a copy of th survey and published it to ArcGIS online to be made public (made no changes) but now when I go to submit a record I get an Operation Rollback error. I saw this post (https://community.esri.com/t5/arcgis-survey123-questions/keep-getting-send-error-operation-rolled-back/td-p/1013520) and made some slight changes as I thought that maybe it was because some fields were being created as String when they should probably be decimal eg lats and longs. Originally they were hidden field type, so I made them decimals and set the Appearance to hidden instead. But I still get the error. I have attached the xlsx from the Portal (the one with Development) version, plus the one I adjust in ArcGIS Online as a comparison. There are also a few required csv file for pulldata functions thay I attached as well. I have a tight timeline to get this fixed so I would really appreciate any input anyone might have. Thanks Phil As often happens, after I posted I had another crack and managed to suss it! I basically added another hidden and null geopoint question and a couple of calculate questions to formulate the lats and longs. Then for the "primary" geopoint I placed a calculation so that if the answer to the select question was 'Other' use the second geopoint location else use the lats and longs from the csv.

Hi All I have a form where a user selects a Wetland from a list and the geopoint location is calculated using a pulldata function from a list of centroids in a csv. That bit works great! However, the business has now asked to have "other" added to the list and then allow the user to enter another value. My question is how can I get the geopoint to revert to the default device GPS location if the user selects other from the list. I cant get the syntax right, the map just seems to be blank and requires the user to click on the map and hit the gps button to locate the map. In my use case scenario the geopoint quesion needs to be hidden from the user. Cheers Chris

I have added the Direction and Distance widget to a web app (which has some editable layers), but when i look under the Miscellaneous tab there are no layers visible in the drop down. I assumed that I would be able to choose on of the available layers as the target ...... Am I missing something here

The JS fuction works great it my dev version of my survey, but as the production version will be a public survey I just realised its not going to work! Is there another way to achieve the same result? Within the repeat the user has a list of 12 target speices to survey and count, I dont wan them counting the same species twice as a seperate record.
