Yeah I'm using the 2.4 developer edition, and I'm referring to the standard measurement widget that comes out of the box (not Tom's measure widget that you linked to). I tried to poke around in the widget's html to see if there was anything to try modifying, but the widget uses the esri Measurement dijit, so there's not really anything in there. And I don't really understand using dijit or if you can override the value formatting.

I'm thinking about an elevation query widget, but it looks like the functionality is only available in the 4.3 JSAPI. Is it even possible to create a widget for a WAB app using the newer API? Thanks.

I'm wondering if it would be possible to modify the format of the results that are displayed in the default measurement widget... When measuring distance in miles, I would like to have the results displayed with three decimal places instead of just two. Looking for any ideas.

Jason Stanton, GISP, did you ever resolve this issue? I have the same thing happening. The widget's help says: "If the basemap used in the web map is not included during the configuration, it will be added automatically when the widget opens." My problem is, I have around a dozen basemaps configured in my widget, which includes the basemap used in the app's web map. But the widget is adding a second copy of this same basemap to the end of the list. Something is not working correctly.

Robert, I ran into the same issue as Anish with the text being messed up on the eSearch results menu. Thankfully I remembered it being mentioned here and I'm going to apply the fix you already posted. Just in case it's useful information, I wanted to point out that I noticed the font in this menu is different between 2.1 and 2.4, with 2.4 using a font that is a bit wider.

Tom, I got a chance to install 2.4 and try out this enhancement. It works as advertised and is a great addition! Thanks again!

Yeah, it would be really cool if that were possible, Tom. Also, I had a user ask the other day if it were possible to delete a single measurement if you have marked up your map with multiple measurements. Kind of like how you can select a polyline measurement and delete a vertex (which is also very cool), but on the line itself. Or if there are only two vertices left, deleting one of them deletes the line, maybe? Thanks again for this great widget!!

I support this idea. I would also add that linear referencing tools are available at the basic ArcGIS Desktop license level without the need of any extension, this should NOT come as an extra cost for an additional ArcGIS Server extension.

Hopefully somebody can help answer your question. I wonder about this too. I've got several cached map services that I don't really know what to do with, and it doesn't help that statistics aren't available like they are for dynamic services. My server doesn't have a lot of RAM to spare, either.

Andrew Niederhauser Andrew Francis When I first started setting up my cached map services, I tried to figure out this tile resampling issue. I eventually ran into this thread, figured it's a dead end. I recently came across another resource that indicated map service resampling had been implemented already. Sure enough, I fiddled around with it and it does work. To get tile resampling to work: 1) I'm running ArcGIS Server 10.3 (don't know if it works with previous versions) 2) Edit the cached map service in the ArcGIS Server Administrator Directory, then add "resampling": "true" to the service properties 3) Change the max scale to include the scales I want to have resampled That's pretty much it. The tile resampling works in the ArcGIS Online map viewer, including my Web AppBuilder app. Doing a quick test, it did not work in a simple JavaScript API map viewer, so I don't know if that's possible or what it would take to get it working. These links helped me get it working: ArcGIS REST API (See: New at 10.3) ENH-000096542: Users cannot zoom beyond their highest resolution ti.. Tiled image in ArcGIS Online does not let me zoom in far

In ArcMap, under Scale Settings, there is an option for "Only display these scales when zooming". I would like to see this option added to ArcGIS Pro. If you have maps that are optimized for viewing at the standard ArcGIS Online / Bing Maps / Google Maps scale levels, they may not look so good at other scales. So it can be nice to use only the scales in your list when zooming with the mouse wheel or zoom in/out buttons.
