Did you try and throw in a "copy feature" for each feature class you would like to save?

Thank you that helps I am hearing there is one license for each 10.2 license to ARCGIS.COM . Is this true and is it full subscription? Larry Yes this is true, but I don't know about the full functionality yet. http://forums.arcgis.com/threads/89773-I-want-a-quot-real-quot-AGOL-account.-I-m-running-Desktop-10.2.-How-do-I-get-one Read the last post in this thread.

Here are some of the advantages that you only get with a paid subscription : - You can host feature services. If you have ArcGIS Desktop, you can upload feature services that have more than 1000 features. Once uploaded you can make edits in ArcGIS Online and if you want to you can download it again as a shapefile. You can't download data with the free account. - You can upload tiled services. Before you upload it, via ArcGIS Desktop, you can label features. This also will draw the features quicker since it will be cached. But beware all this will use credits, but it is not available with the free account. - You can use the desktop operational dashboard http://www.esri.com/software/arcgis/...ions-dashboard This is great in conjunction with hosted feature services, since this dashboard will update in real time whenever edits are made in ArcGIS Online. Not in ArcGIS Online free account. - Recently ESRI has released tools in ArcGIS Online that let you analyze features (i.e. buffer tool) and you can export the results. ESRI keeps adding things to that. Again it consumes credits and is not available in the ArcGIS Online free account. - You can use maps in Microsoft Office products. http://www.esri.com/software/arcgis/...aps-for-office Again this is not available with the free account. - You can download APP's for your smart devices and do editing to feature services on the GO! http://www.esri.com/software/arcgis/...apps/collector This in conjucntion with the desktop dashboard's realtime updates is great. Again not available with the free account. - You can setup your own ArcGIS Online webpage where you can host map galleries. I'm sure i missed a bunch more but that is why I personally like it. For more information look at the Tabs here http://www.esri.com/software/arcgis/arcgisonline If this helps please rate it or mark it as answered thanks! Tim

I think for right now I would just divide each shapefile into smaller chunks. If you have an organizational account you can host a feature service through ArcGIS Desktop, which can have more than 1000 features. Without an organizational account, but with access to a ArcGIS Server, you can host a feature service yourself and add it to your ArcGIS Online map.

If you don't have an organizational account, I think the only thing you can do is divide your layers into less than 1000 feature layers. How many features do you have?

This tool should help you. http://resources.arcgis.com/en/help/main/10.1/index.html#/Project/00170000007m000000/ Run every ESRI base map layer through this tool to get it in the NAD 1983 projection.

I am also having the same problem.... I am using my partner subscription and have over 2400 credits (currently)
All the feature classes are shared All the services definition files are shared the desired Web Map is also shared
Tim suggested to Natasha that she upload a screenshot, but it wouldn't be clear what to screenshot because the "Make a Web Application" option isn't shown....makes it hard to choose a relevant screenshot! There are 2 different places where you can share your map, one is in "My Content", where you are not able to make a web application and the 2nd place, where you are able to create an application, is once your map is actually open. That's why I wanted a screenshot to see where she was looking. What type of browser are you using?

I think what that means is that you won't consume credits if the public just looks at your published maps. But if you include extras, like routing, you will still consume credits at a certain point.
