Tope, I did some more testing with my workflows and the issue goes away if I close down Workflow Manager and reopen it. Also, if I run each step manually (R-click, Run Step) there are no issues. Do you know if there is a way to pause a workflow? We have custom reconcile and post steps that run before the clean up and I wonder if they haven't completely finished before it tries to delete the job version. Thanks, Heather

Tope, I am now seeing this issue on many of my workflows... I will have to create a simple one to do some more testing. Thanks, Heather

I have a clean up step in one of my workflows and even though ArcMap is closed on the computer and no other users are connected to my data version I am getting the following error. When I look in ArcMap at the Version Manager I do not see any locks. Any idea what I am missing?

Michael, I ran the process as you described above and I still lost my queries. Any idea why my production import will not work? Or, is there something I can check for in the WMX repository to ensure that all the 10.2.2 functionality has been added? Also, should I be opening a support ticket to get this looked at? Thanks, Heather

Michael, I reran the post install on the database to get the new functionality (using minimum configuration) and I lost all my queries! Any chance you have been able to look at why importing my jxl didn't work. I think that is probably the best way to get these configurations to work in the new version.

Much like the Link Jobs to Map Types button on the Workflow Manager (Admin) toolbar, it would be great to have a tabular view of every job type with dropdowns for choosing the Data Workspace (and even the Parent Version). This would save a huge amount of time when promoting changes from one environment to another (Test --> Production). Also it would be a single spot to see what data each job type is hitting by default. Basically, the more summary information that can be put into a table view, the better!

Thanks for the response Brian! I am trying to bring my entire configuration over again from JTX 9.3 this time using the post-install tool instead of exporting and importing again. I'm hoping this will sort things out. https://community.esri.com/thread/104707?sr=inbox&ru=36615

Thanks Michael. I had figured this was the case so I tried it out. The post-install failed again this time reporting out of client memory [JTX_JOB_ATTACHMENTS]. I am trying to remove records from some of the oldest jobs but this process is taking a long time.

I started by deleting all the JTX tables and feature classes out of my development environment and copied our production JTX content in its place. I was sure to assign privileges to the copied content and register as versioned. I then ran the post install (which found the existing system table repository) and I selected "Minimum configuration". Unfortunately, the post install failed! Last part of the log is below: Creating schema... Update! I removed the step in question and re-added it to the workflow and the error messages went away. Now I am concerned I will have to do this for 30+ workflows with 10+ steps each, help!

I generated a JXL file from my JTX 9.3 environment and when I tried to import it into Workflow Manager 10.2.2 I got the following errors: Popup saying that The select JXL is invalid. Please see log for details. The log revealed a level 3 message - 7/16/2014 13:58:45.986 Level: 3 Could not parse JXL file due to error -1072896760: "An invalid character was found in text content." at line 205 position 6179 Navigating to that location in the JXL using a text editor leads me to the middle of a GUID GUID="{003656DD-B777-46AB-8B3C-3A875E4643E9}" Does anyone know of a way I could fix this issue and import my configuration? Our system has over 30 jobs and it would be a lot of work reconfiguring each one. I should also note that I have successfully exported another instance of JTX 9.3 from our environment and imported into 10.2.2. Thanks! Heather

I have recently migrated JTX job types over to Workflow Manager and I am getting the following error on the Prepare (Procedural Step) of multiple workflows. The first time I try to check the step I get the first error message and all remaining times I get the second. Any ideas? I have the job assigned to the current user who is an admin and a member of every group.
