Using search in ArcGIS Pro Catalog as a topic. When you open in Catalog and if you have SDE or Dataset, all you can see is the column Type is either Enterprise Dataset or Geodatabase Dataset. But the problem it is not telling you which one is a feature class like Annotation, Points, Polygon, or Table etc... Screenshot for an example : As you can see Type here : All I can see is the You see yellow highlight above ... It is a Enterprise Geodatabase Feature class Now, My question here is about how to search for just a feature class only. Can I type the Feature Class in the search box to pull up all the annotation feature class without having to typse a specific name ? Look at my screenshot as an example : What I want is to just display all the annoation feature class show up in Catalog rather than to have all the feature class like lines, polygon, table, points, etc Can I do that ?

BTW, if I remember right, ESRI had their poster similar the one I have my picture somewhere online ? or was it on one of their ESRI Geodatabase book ? Trying to remember .....

Yes I am familiar with it; however, another co-worker of mine from another forest did a lot of prepared layers and set it up the layout view in 24,000 k. So, I took from his project and change some of the layers to our forest. Most of the layers are already there that the Forest Service uses Enterprise data layers... Basically when I fix that and then going over each quad to review them. I use the identify tool and drag from the top left corner and go all the way to bottom right corner which bring up and then there is an dialog box for Identify tool that shows all the layers within the layout view 24,000 scale. Yes I am planning to migrate them to ArcGIS Pro but for now there is a lot of stuff that I am going through.. What about errors ? I have found some missing that I am going to report to my supervisor when I am done with all of the quad ( I think over 200 of them)

Hello/Bonjour/Hola/ Ciao GIS friends, My supervisor hand me a big project that that I will be going to do review about 200 Quad in Data Drive Pages in ArcMap . I have already started but I was wonder if there are tips or tricks for me. Are there any suggest for me to read about them. I am not sure what you call that … Yes I am a long time GIS user and been here all the time BUT this project is a new one to me.. I have a project that has a lot of layers and each quad will have all or some layers in it. It is set it up in the Data Driven Pages that you see here in below picture. Do you have a suggest for me to read an article or publish how do I prepare for this type of project ? For now, I will do them in ArcMap and then later on will export them to ArcGIS Pro. Thanks ! @DanPatterson_Retired @AdrianWelsh Do you have anyone that knows about this then please share with them.

What do you mean small watermark ? Can you show us what were you trying to do ? If this is not related to ESRI credits, then you can insert a either a graphic or polygon to cover it... Be sure to document where your sources came from in the Map Layout.

1) Are you sure your Layer Properties are set to the same as the Utility Map for example the coordinate system ? Here is an example : This is really important when you export or save as new georeferenced image. 2) Second, when you export your new georeferenced image, it should add it to your map and then it should overlay your not georeferenced image ? 3) if both 1) and 2) works, then when you export to PDF, what do you see it when you open the PDF ? If you open it and if the image shows up on your PDF then it should work...

Your welcome. I have no clue what you were trying to do without a basemap . How is possible for you to get your CAD in a fairly good position with no basemap background ? is there some reason for your side to do this your method without it ?

You need to use the imagery basemap first where you will be using your control points in that area. Find the basemap and then try your best to zoom in a bit and then use the "Move the Display" . If it shows up then you can use the scale, rotate, etc easily. In that picture you showed us, there is no imagery basemap ? Just white background. It means it is somewhere .... Here is an example. Also, it is up to you if you want to bookmark of your CAD in case .

Hi, Is there a script that will allow me to to export an excel file to include all the names of each layers ? This is to help me sort it out because the mxd file I got from somebody else and the files he set it up are from another region and I am in another region. ( Sort of neighbors) This is to help me which layer to pull in similar for our region to match theirs. I am using ArcGIS 10.8.2 in Citrix. Thanks !

Hi friends, I was working on georeferenced each aerial photo in ArcGIS Pro 2.9 and when I decided to save the control points, I forgot to set the projection system to NAD 1983 UTM Zone 13. The Control Points I save are in Longitude and Latitude. Is there a way around to get them to NAD 1983 UTM Zone 13? Thanks !
