An update to share. I reached out to Esri support for some guidance - Esri Case #03164448. This is a known issue and there are enhancement requests to address it. The following is a summary of our discussion: We identified that due to the XLSForm's repeat_count field being added as a field to the feature service's schema and there being a limitation when it comes to editing this field, we are receiving a 400 error message when attempting to submit a record in Survey123. We discussed that this seems to be buggy behavior and that we are going to see if there is a potential workaround we can apply for this situation. After our call, I found the two following logged enhancements: ENH-000127565 : Enhance Survey123 Connect so that the “repeat _count” field is not added to the schema and therefore not required in the feature service. (Status: Under consideration) ENH-000127824 : Enhance Survey123 Connect to expose all fields that are required in the service in order to successfully publish in the Excel spreadsheet so they can be modified and edited. (Status: Closed as a duplicate of ENH-000127565) It would appear that other users have also run into this mismatch issue with Oracle databases where all field names are in uppercase but the field generated by Survey123 are in lowercase. So for now, I think I can't use repeat_count unless someone has a workaround. 🙏 @IsmaelChivite, am I correct?

Hi! I'm using an existing feature service on our ArcGIS Server pointing to data in Oracle - one spatial layer and two related tables for repeat questions. The number of repeat questions are set using the number entered from a previous question. I.e., a user answers there were 2 persons involved. Then the repeat question, using repeat_count, will open 2 repeats to fill in name and other details. The repeat_count variable creates a calculated field in survey123 schema that was not present in our database. Image: Survey123_Schema_Repeat_Count_MixedCase.PNG. So we created the field forcing it mixed case to match. Our published feature service shows the fields in mixed case. Image: Feature_Service_Repeat_Count_MixedCase.PNG Trouble is, the survey web form is attempting to submit the record into a field in all caps. We can see this in the AGS server log. Image: ArcGIS_Server_Log_Repeat_Count_ALLCAPS.PNG. How do I edit the xlsform's _count field so that it is all caps? Or is there a better way to utilize repeat_count in existing feature services to build surveys? Is the calculated field necessary and can I work around it?

Good morning @ThomasHervey1 - continuing to better organize here. Our analysts author metadata within ArcGIS Pro and then push to ArcGIS Online. I'd like to update the team on how to cite originators vs points of contact so they appear in hub correctly. The metadata manager in Pro is different than the mapping you describe here. Will hub pick up citation contact within overview? How is overview mapped to AGOL? We specify originator vs point of contact. Will originator be prioritized? In the image below we include the originating agency under Overview > Citation Contact. This is the preferred creator and organization label to show in hub. Under Resource > Points of Contact is where we plan to place the poc/distributor. Is this correct?

Overall this update is good since I've often had to take ownership of items from individuals to the DCGISopendata administrator account in order to publish to opendata.dc.gov. This workflow always presented an issue when it came time to make an update from the original individual. So thank you! But now we need to perform some quick cleanup. This update presents a new issue for me. Much of our metadata cites our distributor as the organization name (DC Office of the Chief Technology Officer) with the manager as individual name; it is not left blank as this article suggests. The update will overwrite DCGISopendata in all of our content. Users accustomed to seeing DCGISopendata in organization searches - in ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Desktop - will now see "DC Office of the Chief Technology Officer." In hub searches they're used to seeing "Open Data DC." Please correct me if I'm mistaken. I hope I am. See the image showing what many of our items include now. Shown on hub site. Can you set this update as optional somehow? A toggle in hub settings or similar to how you rolled out the font update where saving would trigger the update.

Hi! Find the "hub site" application content item in your ArcGIS Online organization and confirm that the summary/description are present there. It should pick up from there too.

I think I have a related issue with filtered downloads of private content. I have a hosted feature layer (table) in AGOL and shared to our hub site. The filtering functionality triggers users to log into the organization again, however we use SAML and there is no option for that. So, no filtering for private content in explorer table. The bug that was logged was BUG-000141766 submitted 7/28/2021.

Are the items you want displayed also shared to the hub site's content group? Or, shared within a group that is shared in the hub site's group manager? Using "dashboarddemo," without a space, is a good idea. I do the same when I want specific items to show.

Hi! The buttons rely on your theme settings. Go back into your hub site's settings and look through theme. Check the colors you're using and modify; it might be set to white?

I set the global nav text color to black and global background to white. This resolved the global navigation. The search card still has the same issue.

Hi, I'm having a small issue with our hub site where the search box's text and background are both white. I haven't made any changes to the theme nor do I have custom CSS so I'm not sure how this began. Similar issue with the top navigation search box. Where in the hub site settings do I fix this?

I'm building a series of Brain Health Initiative dashboards for our DC Department of Aging and Community Living and one of the most used features will be searching by location within the map. The widget is quite small and was hoping to set this as "open/shown" by default. The hint text would help direct users to see it. Also adding options for higher contrast and sizing will help our senior constituents find these tools better. Can you enable options for having these map widgets open when a dashboard loads? I've seen this in WAB and other configurable apps. Thanks!

I'm building a series of Brain Health Initiative dashboards for our DC Department of Aging and Community Living. I have a few other things I'm building for them and their first feedback is that everything is too small. Fortunately I can make fonts and icons bigger, but I can't do anything about the map buttons. Will you include options to make these map widgets bigger?
