I have about 6 boreholes with average separating distance of 60 meters, with water quality data collected in 3 time steps. I was wondering: 1. Can 3 time steps work for a space time cube statistics for panel data or must it be a minimum of 10 time steps? 2. Assuming it meets the time step criterium, i.e, 10 or above time steps, spatially, can 6 boreholes separated in space by a minimum of 60 meters be used correctly for space time analysis stat? Summary: What's the minimum time steps required to run panel data space time cube analysis and visualization? What's the minimum number of stations and the required spatial contiguity required to for such stations to qualify for space time cube analysis Any video of Panel/station data space time analysis would be appreciated.

Thanks Dan, The buffers are around a point feature, and the rings are simply 5km apart. A total of about 21 ring are expected. I had thought it should be just easy.

I tried doing a ring buffer in Arcmap 10.5.01 for 21 rings but it kept processing and never produced any feature. Tried this 3 times, same thing. I was wondering if there is a limit?

We use Collector for ArcGIS to stream survey lines while acquiring data on such lines in the field. The streamed line is made available to the back office by making the feature line update at intervals. However, the streamed lines can't be updated until they are manually submitted on Collector before the line updates online. This manual submission interrupts the acquisition process. It would be nice to have this submission made automatically at certain intervals just as the feature service auto-updates at intervals.

I know we can do some basic layer stacking in Arcscene although labeling is very tasking. I was wondering how one can achieve something like below in Pro where I think it may be possible to add some good labels and perhaps annotation. Thanks ahead of time.

Thanks alot Skinner. I appreciate your response. I was also able to open the sample LAS file you attached for me here. The LAS file I am trying to open is actually from borehole logging equipment (Delta Epsilon Instruments Inc.) and with this standard (CWLS Log ASCII Standard - Version 2.0).You may wish to look at it again in light of this additional info and with your wealth of experience. It is a valid LAS file, but perhaps some manipulations were needed to successfully load it into ArcGIS. I say this because it was successfully loaded in IHS kingdom (a Geological Interpretation software). I 'll be glad to get a response on this if possible. Thanks all

Hi Derek, Thanks for your answers. I do appreciate it. However, don't you think such an option may be beneficial especially when streaming a line? Submitting at each segment and restarting to collect is a little more manual than one may wish to do. Just thinks it could be added as an option.

While I stream along lines in the field with collector, I need to have such lines viewed from the office by my colleagues AS I STREAM. Somehow, the lines are only visible when I manually submit/ update. Is there any way to have the lines auto-update/submit as I stream, so that it become visible at the other end as the layer updates?? Thanks in advance.

I have raster layers showing interpolated values of temperature over different time period for a given location. I hope to convert the rasters to a netcdf file. I need to animate the netcdf using the time dimension. I don't seem to to have a clue to this but I think it should be possible. Does anyone have a clue how this can be achieved? Thanks.

I run ArcGIS 10.5.1. Recently, the software started behaving starngely namely: Each time I call up any Geo processing tool such as Buffer etc, Arcmap crashes. It does same when I call up any tool from the extension toolbox such as Project, Clip raster, etc. Attempt to load basemap crashes the software also. What actually could be happening?? I have taken these steps as seen online: 1. Cleared cache several times 2. Turned off "Hardware Acceleration" The problem still persists. My desktop is 32GG RAM and 4T HDD machine. So I don't think memory and space are the issues here. Please suggest any solution.

Very many thanks Robert. I searched through the Geo-explorer and finds it exciting. I was particularly interested in the GeoExplore 7x which appears to be the one with the highest resolution (1-100cm) in the Geoexplorer family. However, I was wondering if same resolution is possible in the vertical dimension...i.e, will I be able to get 1-100cm accuracy when measuring elevation?? Have you used any of these before? Please, can you throw some more light. Thanks

I have some feature classes in file geodatabase which I backed up. Now, the file geodatabase appears empty when called up/opened Arcmap. But I can see the files when opened in file explorer (see attached figure). I noticed the file names have times stamps appended on them; could that be the problem?? Please, how can I recover the files.

I downloaded and installed Navigator successfully. Also, downloaded the map and all looks good. However, upon loading the App, the GPS location wouldn't load/show. Sometimes it shows after several minutes (up to 10 minutes) and some other times it wouldn't show at all. Also, some of the control buttons sometimes refuse to show. What could be causing this problem? Does the GPS especially use Internet connection to load? I use itel android phone: Model -: itel it 1516 Plus, Android version-: 5.1 I really need to use this App and hence any tip on how to resolve this prob will be appreciated
