Thanks a lot Kelly. I was able to download the script and run it but it wasn't successful. Don't really know why. I think I followed all the steps. 1. Attached the files to the feature class 2. Published it as a service 3. Added a new STRING field called 'Pictures" with 600 character capacity 4. Obtained the web address (URL) of the feature service and filled it in (see fig 1) 5. Obtained and filled the "Referer' space accordingly (see fig 1) 6. Run the script But it did not succeed. See fig 2. Please, any help would be appreciated. I have about 600 attachments in two feature services and it's going be pretty boring digging for the URL of each of the attachments after attaching them individually first.

Thanks Solomon, Actually, I am okay with having the "widget icon" anywhere within the map area. However, I am interested in where it opens. I will like to configure it to open at a specific position on the map. Default setting is that it opens by the left side corner. Can I make it open by default at the upper side or right side or indeed any chosen place on the map? That's actually my headache now. I don't like it open at the left hand side and neither do I want to be dragging it manually each time. Thanks

Thanks Kelly, I added the pix as images that are stored in ArcGIS Online as a files. I actually have more than 400 points for this purpose. To go the attachment way as you suggested, I was wondering if there is a limit to the number and size of images that can be attached to a feature class online. Any idea? Perhaps, I can adopt the other method and wait for when the popup thing improves. Just can't afford to share the pix publicly for now.

I think I like the "about" widget stuff. I was wondering however if there is a way to reposition the placement/position of the widget within the map layout. Currently, it pops up at the left hand side of the map by default. Is there a work-around to set it to popup elsewhere, perhaps at the right hand side or just about any other place one may chose?

In ArcGIS Online, photo pop-ups show only when they are publicly shared. I ask, is there any work-around to get the pop-up work (show) when it is not shared publicly? Our client wouldn't like the a publicly shared feature. Also, I am wondering why the pop-up does not work for the admin and the organization members even when it is share within the organization. Any clues please?

I have been using this basemap -DigitalGlobe's 2m Digital Surface Model, HumanLandcape, and Basemap +Vivid; Nigeria-(http://www.arcgis.com/home/item.html?id=b9290a472e8e4d21aea3a9b826e52eee), and I have checked the metadata but don't seem to see the acquisition date. Is there anyway I can know the date of acquisition? I saw that it was created in 2015. What could be the acquisition date? Thanks in advance.

Thanks Dan and Joshua. Actually, the intention of merging all of that data is 'the expected possibility of querying the data by field (select by attribute) or similar analysis. For instance, selecting records based on fields is easier if the data exist in a single feature than where features are joined, related, etc. The fact that the attributes are always searched/queried means that, if I have them as independent feature layers, I will need to join the features each time-which is not efficient. Perhaps, I need more skills in the best way to easily query attribute of features existing as different layers in a given or different databases perhaps without necessarily going through join/relate protocols each time. Is there something I need to know along this line? Thanks again.

I have a point feature data sets with attribute tables. The feature layers are up to 40 but I have managed to merge them up as 1 feature class. The nutty part is that the ‘merged’ feature class now has more than 120 fields and about 2500 records. Meanwhile, the fields and rows are expected to grow as more data pour in in the feature. I was wondering if there is a smarter way of managing this kind of data rather than the way I am currently doing it. Note that some fields/columns contains just a few rows of data given the fact that some records may just need about 50 columns to represent them as against about 1000 fields already existing in the feature attribute table, thereby having a lot of ‘null’ or empty fields for some records/rows. Actually, the intent is to have a database that can be immediately queried by field or any other parameter to retrieve information quickly. But for now, the number of fields has even become complex to scroll through and the database looks a little cluttered…… What could be the way out here? I am using ArcGIS Desktop and the Data sets are being managed in a File Geodatabase. I will appreciate your thoughts in this matter.

I have a map created in ArcGIS desktop and imported into Pro, and I need to publish it via Pro but when I went to "SHARE" it's not populating the required options needed to publish it as a service. Does anyone know why?

I used to be able to publish map services to my ArcGIS online on ArcGIS 10.3.3 desktop. I needed to do same recently on 10.4.1 only to realize that I can't seem to figure out the process. Following this steps don't seem to work. File>Share As> Service>Publish As Service----I got stuck at the next level as attached. Then I can't seem to see how to progress anymore. Is there any useful for me here? Really appreciate.

Hi Dan. Thanks again for your rapid response. Somehow, I could not find out if the tool is possible in Arcscene environment. All explanations of it was centered on Arcmap. I was just hoping I could use it in Arcscene or perhaps have a tool with similar function in Arcscene. Do you have an idea of this? Cheers,

I am getting this error as shown here each time I tried to intersect these 2 3d features. I am surprised that one of the layers intersected correctly but not others, even when I created them all using same method. The error means the features are not intersected but geographically they are. Does anyone know why? Also, how can I merge different layers of multipatch together? I am not sure of which tools does that. I ve tried some without success.

Thanks Dan, I forgot to mention that it should be a short training 4-6 days. The kind offered at Esri Uk and the likes. I wouldn't know if it's really a University kind of training.
