Hi Todd, So, are you able to download your survey using Survey123 Connect? If so, can you click on the hamburger menu in the bottom right corner of the survey thumbnail and select 'Show folder'? If possible, please zip this folder and upload it in a comment to this thread. This will help to investigate potential causes of the errors. Thank you, Brandon

If you are using repeats (related tables) in your survey and the image question is in the repeat, you will be able to add attachments as they are created as a new record in the related table, and the image question can therefore be repeated within the same survey. Your example above should work perfectly in order to achieve your goal. You should not need to change the name of your image question, just add a record to the repeat once the ability to do so is enabled in the Inbox. Editing Repeats

If you are familiar with modifying the source code of Survey123 using AppStudio, it may be possible to enable uploading of existing images in the Inbox, and then ultimately adding new ones. There are no listed steps or documentation related to achieving this, and please keep in mind that the modification and risk of using the resulting app would not be supported by ESRI. A more accessible workflow may be to utilize repeats in order to add images within related tables to the existing feature (via the Inbox). Although you would not be able to edit existing images, you would be able to add a record to an existing repeat question which would then allow for attaching an image to the new record. Let me know if you have any questions related to this workflow, and keep in mind that it does present other limitations if you are looking to reference the images in other ESRI applications as, again, they will be stored within their own related table.

Hi Erick, It is not currently possible to edit attached photos via the Inbox. We do hope to support this in the future, and I will add your request to our existing logged issue. Please refer to the links below which provide documentation related to this limitation. Enable editing Talk Like a Pirate Release (2.4) "As of this release, the Inbox lacks support for downloading attachments. That is, you can use the Inbox against a survey that includes attachments, but the Inbox will not populate signatures, annotated images, audio or image questions. All these types of questions will appear empty, as if they had no data. As for the rest of questions, you will be able to download data for them and update them as well. Also, to play on the safe side, when you edit surveys from your Inbox we will disable editing on these types of questions. This means that if you open a survey from your Inbox to make edits to it, all questions of type image (photos, signature, annotate, draw) as well as audio questions will appear not only empty, but also disabled. This is to avoid people from accidentally attempting to change data in them. We are considering adding support in a future release for editing attachments." Regards, Brandon

Hi Nick, As you mentioned, it appears that images that are referenced from the 'external_choices' sheet are not properly being reflected with the corresponding choice, when viewed using the Survey123 field app. For the meantime, please do use the workaround of adding your cascading select options to the 'choices' sheet in your XLSForm. I have gone ahead and made note of the issue on our end. Thanks, Brandon

Hello Nick, There should not be an issue displaying images in tandem with choices based off of a cascading select. Are you seeing the same results in all clients? (Windows/Desktop field app, mobile field app, etc..)? Can you attempt to download the attached example XLSForm and media folder and create a survey on your end using Survey123 Connect? If it does not work on your end, we can explore reasons why that might be the case in your environment. If it does work, please take a look at what may be different in your XLSForm compared to what is in the one attached. Also, in that case, it may be helpful if you are able to upload your survey and media folder or send it to me in a private message. Brandon

Thank you for providing your XLSForm, Ben. You appear to be encountering an issue that is related to the 'repeat_count' values that you have assigned to your repeats that contain geopoint questions. As a workaround to the issue, you can remove the repeat count values, and republish the survey. You should then be able to successfully 'Send Now' at the end of your survey. I have gone ahead and added a note to the issue that has already been documented for fix in a future release. Brandon

Hi Ben, Are you seeing this behavior on multiple devices/computers? Please let us know if you are, and if not, what device/devices's you are experiencing it with. In addition, it is always helpful to see the survey (XLSForm) if possible. You can either upload it to the thread, or, send it in a private message. Thanks, Brandon

Hello Elaine, Although there is not a way to target "only" surveys in the Inbox, there is a way to clear all surveys that are complete, incomplete, deleted and submitted from the 'My Surveys' page. This option is located in the Advanced Settings of the Survey123 field app and should be used with caution. You can navigate to the 'Advanced Settings' section of the settings documentation linked below for more information... Settings If you are not already, would recommend using query expressions in the Inbox Filter to limit the surveys returned to only those ones that you are wanting to edit and resubmit. Where expressions

Gary, The 'Sent box' is set to be Enabled by default. In order to disable the Sent box, you need to apply the change in the Settings > Sent Surveys options within Survey123 Connect prior to publishing your survey. It is explained in further detail, here... Learn more about the Sent box

Great to hear that it is working. You should be fine to drop the parentheses as well. So, it should work to use the following... ${Event}='Weed' or ${Camp_weeds}='yes'
