Good to hear that increasing the fieldLength's resolved the issue. I suspect it was due to the fact that you had an inputMask of (000) 000-000 and a fieldLength of 10. Each of the parentheses and the dash would also count as a character. As to the error message, I was able to observe it by using the AppStudio Console in order to troubleshoot. The steps that can be used to do this are listed here... Troubleshoot—Survey123 for ArcGIS | ArcGIS Hopefully, we will be able to prompt an error dialogue for this issue in the future.

Hello Ezra, In what method are you attempting to access the survey with the field app? Please attempt the following steps... 1. Have the survey creator login to survey123.arcgis.com and select the desired survey 2. Select the 'Collaborate' option 3. From the 'Submitter' section, select the option for 'Everyone' for "Choose who can submit date to this survey" > Save 4. Select the option to "Open the survey in the Survey123 field app directly" 5. Copy the 'Survey link' and send to those you'd like to fill out the survey Please let us know your results after attempting this workflow.

Hi Oscar, It appears that you are encountering the same error that I believe you may have been hitting in the past. That is "Error Code 1000 String or binary data would be truncated.\r\nThe statement has been terminated." Code 1000 String or binary data would be truncated Do you happen to remember what you did to resolve this error in the past? Brandon

Unfortunately, there is no way for the form to know where to store the value prior to satisfying the relevancy which you have assigned to it. In order for the parameter to pass, you must add a value of 'Maybe' to your choices sheet. Another option that may work for you, would be to use the 'hidden' field type for those questions, and set them to the appropriate bind::esri:fieldType. This way, the questions would never appear to the submitter, but you could pass parameters and/or edit the values after submission.

Hi Francisco, After looking at your XLSForm, it appears that you have placed a calculation in the relevant column of the fields that are not showing, or passing parameters, which is not applicable. For all these fields, you have a calculation stating ${Contractors} = 'Maybe', however there is no choice value of 'Maybe' that applies to your field named 'Contractors'. This may have something to do with the error. Can you please review your XLSForm and attempt to address this, then try again? Thank you, Brandon

Thank you for the info, David. After publishing successfully using Survey123 Connect, can you please select the option to 'Manage in Survey123 website' from the side panel? Do you encounter the same error, or what are your results? There is a possibility that the survey you are publishing in Connect, and the one you are attempting to access in your online Survey Gallery may not be the same.

Hi David, How was this form originally created? Did you use Survey123 Connect, or the web designer on the Survey123 website? When you say that it allows you to publish, but not submit, can you please let us know where you are publishing (Survey123 Connect or web designer) and if you are attempting to submit using the Survey123 field app (mobile) or the web form (online)? Thanks, Brandon

Hi Meg, I wanted to follow up with you regarding this issue. I understand that you have not been able to delete existing records from a particular service that takes part in a relationship with a survey. I was wondering if you are capable of editing this service in any other fashion? For instance, are you able to add a new feature to the service when interacting with it in a web map? Another option might be to unshare it with the Group and attempt to edit again. Or, share one of the services that is allowing you to edit with the same Group and see if this changes your ability to edit the service. Please let me know your results. Brandon

Hi Corey, At this time, the ability to print from a mobile device using Survey123 is not possible. However, we do have an open feature request related to supporting this functionality, and I will add your use case to the notes. We do hope to support this in the future, but please be aware that we do not currently have a timeline as to when this will be. Brandon

Great to hear that there were some performance improvements after unchecking the irrelevant barcode types. As for the use of bluetooth scanners, they should be able to fill in barcode fields. However, they also take over the keyboard of the device; currently the on-screen keyboard does not display when the scanner is connected.

Hi Stefaan, What type of barcode format are you attempting to scan? One option might be for you to uncheck the formats that the field app is enabled to look for. You can do this after opening up your barcode question, and then selecting the hamburger menu on the top right. You will see 'Barcode Types', followed by a list of the barcode formats. Uncheck those barcodes types that you do not need and see if that leads to any results.

Hi Ashley, It appears that there may be some confusion between the Form and Feature Service from ArcGIS.com and Connect, leaving them out of sync. Please take a look at the previous thread, where Ismael provided a potential solution... Help with code: 400 Publishing Error - "folder title not available" Please let us know if this works for you.
