Hi Christopher, Which browser are you using? As a workaround, try to use another browser and see if you get different results. Best, Brandon

Hi Sean, Are you creating your survey based off of an existing feature service? Can you please provide a copy of your XLSForm so that we can get a better idea of the data structure you are referring to? Thanks, Brandon

Hi Daniel, We are currently investigating this behavior and trying to gather more information related causing it. Do you happen to know which version of Survey123 Connect you used in order to create the survey? Thanks, Brandon

Hi Guy, I am not seeing the same behavior when viewing a survey created using Survey123 Connect with Hebrew as the default language. Can you please share the XLSForm that you used to create the survey? Also, what is the default language of the OS and browser where you are seeing this? The behavior with the formatting of the date appears to be a bug. I will log that on our end to be addressed as soon as possible. In the meantime, you can add a text question and enter a calculation such as format-date(${previous_time},'%e:%m:%Y') This is outlined in the 'Date formatting' section of the help documentation linked below... To update this thread, it was determined that Internet Explorer was the culprit behind the delay in report generation, and once we attempted with a different browser (Google Chrome) the reports generated with ease. I will investigate the behavior with IE, but please continue using Chrome or another browser for the time being. Best, Brandon

Hi John, If you are very careful, you can delete the stakeholder view (MUST MAKE SURE IT IS NOT THE PARENT LAYER) and re-share the survey using the Collaborate options in the Survey123 website. This will recreate the stakeholder view which can then be shared with other viewers using the share link. As a best practice, you can always export your data to a file geodatabase prior to deleting/recreating things like views. To answer the question in full, once the survey is republished using Survey123 Connect, it does not update the view in the republishing process. As the view is simply referencing the parent layer, where the data is stored, it loses the connection and must be re initiated using the workflow described above. Best, Brandon

Hi Allison, Can you explain what led you to be prompted to download Survey123 Connect in order to edit your survey? When a survey that has originally been designed and published using the web designer is downloaded to Survey123 Connect, the ability to edit that survey using the web designer is no longer possible. It will require that all future edits be handled using the XLSForm in Survey123 Connect and re-published from the desktop application. Are you able to open the XLSForm, edit, save, and publish from there?

Hi Monica, This appears to be caused by a defect with how the webform is reading the entered time value. At the moment, time values that fall between 12pm and 1pm are encountering a switch from PM to AM. As a workaround, you can remove the requirement of the question, however, keep in mind that the values between 12PM and 1PM will be input as AM. I have gone ahead and raised the issue internally and we will be looking to address this as soon as possible. Best, Brandon

Hi Harold, You may need to turn off the validation rules for that particular cell in order to allow for multiline predictive text to be entered as a value. As mentioned here, you can quickly remove data validation for a cell, by selecting it, and then going to Data > Data Tools > Data Validation > Settings > Clear All. Try this and let us know your results.

Hi Jimmy, It sounds like you are looking for a method to place an integer question with a spinner appearance horizontally next to a multiple choice question (on the same row). How many plant species will be listed on your choice sheet? While it is not possible, to have an integer question with spinner appearance on the same row, you could potentially have an integer question with spinner appearance set for each of the species. This could be placed within a group with compact appearance until the survey submitter is ready to engage with the particular section of the survey. This might get a little busy if you have lots of different species. I have attached a screenshot and XLSForm regarding how this might work... Best, Brandon

Hi Robert, Which version of Survey123 Connect and the Survey123 Field App are you using? After specifying a value of 'multiline predictivetext' in the appearance column of a text question and publishing your survey, you should see both the multiline appearance and predictive text enabled on your Android device. I confirmed this behavior to be working when publishing a survey using Survey123 Connect v. 3.1.126 and Survey123 Field App v.3.1.159 on a Samsung Galaxy S8 with Android 8.0. Let us know what your results are after trying this out. Best, Brandon

Hi Josh, Depending upon which method you used to create your survey, I would consider using the multiline text option, rather than single line. If Survey123 Connect was used to design your survey, you can set the a value of 'multiline' in the appearance column for the desired question in your XLSForm. If you used the web designer, available with the Survey123 website, you can add a "Mulitline Text" question. This would be the best method to allow for all text to be seen, regardless of length of the answer. Best, Brandon

Hi Sarah, Can you please explain more about your workflow? Where did you 'import' data from an Excel Spreadsheet? I am assuming that you created the survey using the Survey123 web designer, but can you provide details related to where your surveys were submitted from? (web app or field app). Please provide more details. Thanks, Brandon
