@CMcDonald This option is not supported in the Smart Editor widget. What you are requesting may be done with Attribute rules. Please review the following article published on 3 January 2021: Introducing smart forms in ArcGIS Field Maps (esri.com) Near the bottom of the article: Attribute rules – are user-defined rules that can be used to automatically populate attributes, restrict invalid edits, and perform quality assurance checks on existing features when they are submitted. Attribute rules are coming to hosted feature services and to forms so that you can execute business logic in your form connected or offline. Smart forms may provide the capabilities you require moving forward.

@CMcDonald I think you may need to add more than one expression? There's a dropdown option for "is blank" And from the dropdown at the top, "all" stands for AND and "any" stands for OR... if I'm not mistaken.

There is currently no option to customize the Attribute Actions in the Smart Editor widget, while you may extend the widget with the capabilities you need in Web AppBuilder Developer edition. Hi @BillHeigh, For this widget to work as expected, please make sure the layers you have selected in the "Define Layer(s) to Update" tab have common field names. Only common fields from the layers you've selected will be listed in the "Define Field(s) to Update". You can then select the fields you would like to batch update from there and save the configuration. The widget configuration cannot be saved if no layers were selected and no fields were selected. If you select only one layer to update, the fields should be listed as well. Regards, Alix

Hi @CMcDonald , There is currently no option to configure and filter which editing templates are listed in the Smart Editor. The only option that comes to mind based on what you've described could be to use Preset Attribute Actions in the Smart Editor configuration against Hosted Feature Layer Views. You could try to: 1. Setup editable Hosted Feature Layer Views (https://doc.arcgis.com/en/arcgis-online/manage-data/create-hosted-views.htm) from your source hosted layer; one named "1, Null" and the other "2, Null". 2. Configure a filter against each of these hosted layer views in the visualization tab to only display the features for "1, Null" or "2, Null". 3. Add these to your application's web map. 4. In your web app, add and configure the Smart Editor widget, and make sure your 2 views are editable in the widget. 5. In the Smart Editor widget configuration, Attribute Actions tab, go to Preset section. 6. Add a new preset group, and set the preset value of "1, Null" against the field in your "1, Null" feature layer view. You can optionally hide these presets from the editor by checking the related checkbox. Repeat for "2, Null" with a new preset group. You should now have two Presets, one against each of your feature layer views. 7. Save the configuration. Now, if you create a feature from the "1, Null" layer, the value "1, Null" will be written automatically into the field. Quick similar example below - Risk 1 and Risk 2 layers are hosted feature layer views created from the Hosted_Layer_Example layer. The Preset values Risk 1 and Risk 2 are assigned to the features in layer views Risk 1 and Risk 2 respectively. Hopefully this helps with your project! Regards, Alix

Hi Allyson, The yellow tabs (SourceSchema, TargetSchema, SourceSubtypes, TargetSubtypes) in the workbooks are for your reference only - for you to look at and help you better understand the source and target schemas of your data models. Also, the source field options you get in the dropdown (Expression column, in the Mappin tab) come from the SourceSchema sheet - so if you remove a field from that sheet, it will not be reflected in the dropdown anymore, but it can still be used to load data. Changes you make in these yellow tabs will not affect/impact the results of your data load. If you make changes to your source or target datasets, you will need to make the related changes in the Mapping tab and the blue tabs to reflect these changes. So to answer your question "If a field has been added to the UN data model and that field has values in the source data, it does NOT need to be mapped in the mapping tab? even just !Latitude! to the new latitude field?" - Yes you can add that new field in the mapping tab, in the TargetField column, and assign the source field in the Expression column. When making changes to your data models after having already generated the workbooks, the recommended approach is to run the Create Data Loading Workspace tool again, against your modified source and target datasets, and create a new separate Data Loading Workspace that you can use to compare the changes and implement them in your workbooks.

Experience Builder is available in Portal and is also available as a developer edition, so you should be able to host it in the same way as you were with Web AppBuilder.

@AllysonReynolds I'm glad to hear these help! I'm currently working on the advanced mapping video, which will provide some examples for using Python scripts in the Excel workbooks. It should be available in the beginning of January. Also, please feel free to share any questions you may have!

Hi, The option to close the widget on save will not be added at this stage - the Smart Editor widget is meant to be used as a focused editing tool and we are only planning new capabilities for the next generation editor in Experience Builder. However, some configuration options available in the General Settings, including "Remove feature from selection on save", will return to the main widget pain after a feature is saved. The (X) at the top of the widget panel, available with most Web AppBuilder themes, will close the widget. Otherwise, if your workflow mainly requires the public to create new point features and view them on a map, I suggest exploring the option of creating a simple app with a form in Experience Builder. The builder allows you to add an existing survey from Survey123 or to create a new one, and you can also add your web map to the side that reflects the points layer with the points being collected in the survey. This may require a little more configuration time from your end, but may be more user-friendly based on your user's needs?
