@PeterGoedbloed1 Thank you for sharing the recording, that's very helpful! The only thing I can think of is to verify in your web map to make sure the fields you would like to update are set to be editable in the pop-up configuration?

Hi @CMcDonald , the Smart Editor does not currently support displaying the time based on the format defined in the web map when editing a feature's attributes, as you've specified it will be honored in the pop-up.

Hi @cardiofaz, The Smart Editor widget does not support concatenating values in the target field when using intersection attribute actions - only one value can be added to the field.

Append with Transformation only supports insertions. Maybe you could setup a model in Model Builder that would run Truncate or Delete Features first, and then Append with Transformation?

@GavinRunyon thank you for posting your question. Unfortunately, the Data Loading Tools do not currently support the workflow for feature class to table, but the Append with Transformation does. You can use the Expressions column and the code block in the same way you would use the mapping workbooks and the scripts in the data loading workspace.

Hi @frhilyana_geo11 , Thank you for posting your question! "can we filter the preset value of 'Type of Point of Interest' to display based on what the feature template that the user has previously selected?" Unfortunately, Smart Editor does not support contingent attribute values (filtering the next possible value options based on what was previously selected). You may be able to set this up in Survey123 Cascading and external selects—ArcGIS Survey123 | Documentation Also, please review the following article published on 3 January 2021: Introducing smart forms in ArcGIS Field Maps (esri.com) Smart forms may eventually be made available across most of the platform. See contingent values at the bottom of the article.

Hi @PrashantKirpan , I can reproduce the issue you have described in WAB 2.17 Developer Edition. This issue is not found in the latest version of developer edition 2.18. Please try the latest update and see if this helps with what you are trying to do. ArcGIS Web AppBuilder (Developer Edition) | ArcGIS for Developers If you prefer not to upgrade to the latest edition, you could try swapping out the Smart Editor widget folder in your current build with the newer one (replace widget in client>stemapp>widget folder, and widget in apps folders for existing apps you want to upgrade) and it should resolve that issue.

Hi @MarcoPoetsch , There have been similar reports in less recent version of ArcGIS Online and Enterprise. I believe this is now fixed in the most recent versions of the software, but I would recommend contacting Esri Support for this case as they may be able to provide a solution tailored to your specific use case. Regards, Alix

Hi @JaredRyan1 , Thank you for your question. It looks like this may have been fixed in a later version of the Smart Editor widget in Web AppBuilder. Here is the reported bug: BUG-000128889: The Smart Editor widget fails to edit information fo.. (esri.com) It was actually implemented in June 2020, which means the fix may only be available in Enterprise 10.9. About release versions—ArcGIS Web AppBuilder (Developer Edition) | ArcGIS for Developers I would recommend using the latest version of Smart Editor from Web AppBuilder Developer edition and hosting it as a custom widget for your own version of Portal if you need this fixed and you cannot update Portal anytime soon. I hope this helps!

@CMcDonald indeed ArcGIS Field Maps would involve a different workflow than the office-based one you've described. If I am not mistaken, the "smart forms" that are available in Field Maps will also be available in other ArcGIS products. In the article I mentioned above, this is described as follows: "The form you build with the Field Maps web app is stored within the map. Smart form content is managed in the map so other ArcGIS apps can display the same form editing experience as the Field Maps mobile app." [...] "The first web app to use these forms is the Map Viewer beta – planned for release in 2021. If you add or edit features in the Map Viewer beta, you’ll be presented with the same form that the Field Maps mobile app displays." If that works out the way it's described in the article, these capabilities should eventually become available in the Map Viewer (beta) and potentially ArcGIS Experience Builder. Of course, that's not an immediate solution to your problem. I did a bit more research and it appears a similar capability is supported in Survey123. Here's a video (a bit dated) that shows how it works: ArcGIS Survey123: XLSForm – Using Calculations in Your Surveys - Bing video - I assume there's lots more you can do today, please see related doc: Formulas—ArcGIS Survey123 | Documentation I think you would need to use Survey123 Connect to build your form and leverage the formulas. Survey123 forms can be used in a desktop browser and are also part of Experience Builder if you would like to display the web map and the survey into one app: Survey widget—ArcGIS Experience Builder | Documentation

This option is not supported in the Smart Editor widget. What you are requesting may be done with Attribute rules. Please review the following article published on 3 January 2021: Introducing smart forms in ArcGIS Field Maps (esri.com) Near the bottom of the article: Attribute rules – are user-defined rules that can be used to automatically populate attributes, restrict invalid edits, and perform quality assurance checks on existing features when they are submitted. Attribute rules are coming to hosted feature services and to forms so that you can execute business logic in your form connected or offline. Smart forms may provide the capabilities you require moving forward.
