Update for you all: At this point, our Microsoft and Esri Product Groups are actively investigating this issue in collaboration. Our understanding is that this issue has been logged on the Microsoft side as ICM - 187310866 with a current Severity Level of 2, meaning it now has an SLA for a solution. The issue is being treated with urgency by both Product Groups and we appreciate your continued patience in this matter. For your requirements, you are going to need at minimum the following: ArcGIS Online organization Viewer user type* ArcGIS Maps for PowerBI Add on license *If you are going to be publishing content and hosting it on the ArcGIS Online organization you will need this user to be a Creator. Depending on where you are publishing from (ArcGIS Pro) you will also need the appropriate license for Pro in the ArcGIS Online organization.

Hello Robert, "That is an interesting question... You are able to connect to the Geodatabase as you would to any SQL server db. Updates and edits to the main table will work, but there will likely be problems updating the related items. ArcGIS clients are aware of the relationships because they know to query the geodatabase repository for relationship classes, etc. It's built into the client code. The PowerApps app isn't aware that the geodatabase repository exists so it will only update the main table.

Hello William, To initialize the Term Set, you must be a term set admin. Please follow the workflow below to complete this: Go to Sharepoint homepage. Click on app launcher - top left of page Admin Under Admin Centers click SharePoint Click term store Add user as a Term Store Administrator Go back to ArcGIS Maps for Sharepoint App Configuration page and initialize the term set (It might take a minute for the ArcGIS Maps Search to be added to the Taxonomy Term Store).
