Hello Alexandra, After some digging, I was able to find this document which insinuates that Enterprise Logins (SAML Included) should work as expected within the ArcGIS Maps for PowerBI Application. Please let me know if you have any follow up questions!

Hey David, If this is occurring in PowerBI Desktop, my first recommendation would be to reinstall PowerBI Desktop with the latest and greatest. You can find this installer here: https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/downloads/

Hello Emeric, Thank you for reaching out. I've taken the liberty of testing your workflow and am following up with my findings. It appears that I can only conduct Drive Time analysis when editing the visual. Outside of this context, I am only able to drag the map around, zoom, and turn layer visibility off. This behavior still holds true when working with an enterprise connection, I'm afraid.

Hello there Paul, At this time, ArcGIS Maps for PowerBI does not have the ability to conduct analysis with the reference layer from ArcGIS Online / ArcGIS enterprise. You are able to view the reference layer's information via pop-ups which were pre configured in AGOL.

Hello Michael, ArcGIS for PowerBI does not currently update the map in real time. It will display a snapshot of the data as it was during the configuration of the application. Even those that have push to update set up would not be reflected within the visual.

As of January 2020, PowerBI requires an add on license in order to have access to premium content (source). However, depending on your workflow, you may not need this feature. The standard user type comes with many features at no cost to you! Please see this document for more info.

Hello Ori, Thank you for reaching out. Reading through your question, it appears that you are trying to implement a data refresh within your PowerBI Document. After some searching, I was able to find this Microsoft document that speaks to your workflow: Data refresh in PowerBI. Depending on how you want this refresh to work, you may be able to implement a simple cache refresh (which can occur every 15 minutes). Please let me know if you have any follow up questions.

Hello Kim, thank you for reaching out. To clarify, are you trying to export it to PowerPoint, pdf, or Excel? If so, the ArcGIS PowerBI visual is not supported for those export formats. Please view the Limitations section here for more info. We do have enhancement requests logged for these issues, so if you have maintenance with us please log a case so that I can add you to it.

Hello Vicky, thank you for replying. Could you confirm the version of PowerBI Desktop you are using? You may find this info by opening PowerBI Desktop, clicking on file, and selecting About. Additionally, could you comment on how you are publishing to PowerBI Online? Is the visual failing in PowerBI Online, or is it failing when you try to embed the project in another site?
