Hello Zhifang, We have a project that fits with scenario #2 in your comment from April 26th. Since it involves a publicly-available survey, the settings have been changed as you indicated, according to this document. However, we are now discovering that when public surveys are secured in this way, we can no longer view the data on the data tab of the Survey123 website, and the Feature Report functionality is no longer available. Generating Feature Reports is critical to our workflow for this project, so the fact that feature reports are no longer functioning when a survey is configured according to Esri's documentation seems like a major problem. Do you know if efforts are underway to address this issue? Thank you, Lindsay Natalie Campos

We learned from Esri Support that this is a defect. BUG-000131136 Status: New Description: The constraint message is displayed in all languages when we access a Survey configured with multiple languages in the Survey123 for ArcGIS website.

We have a Survey123 form (built using Connect) that we would like to make available - in a web form, not the field app - in both English and Spanish. The form has been configured with Spanish strings for labels, hints, required messages and constraint messages. The labels, hints and required messages all behave as I would expect, but I'm seeing that the constraint messages appear in both languages, regardless of what language has been selected for the form. For example, here is an image of the web form being used in English: It's my understanding from this page that translating constraint messages is supported. Any ideas for why both languages are appearing for constraint messages in the web form? An example XLSForm is attached. Thank you, Lindsay Natalie Campos

Hello All, We have a 10.6 Enterprise Portal environment (on linux) that we are using to support our COVID-19 response efforts. We've noticed an issue when layers from AGOL are added to a webmap. After some research, the issue seems somewhat similar to this post, but in our case, we are building the webmaps from scratch, so ArcGIS Online assistant is not in the mix; nothing has been moved or copied over from elsewhere. Here are our repro steps: 1) On our enterprise portal, create a new webmap 2) Add some content that is hosted on that portal and save the webmap 3) Close and re-open the webmap - no problem 4) Now add some content from AGOL (anything that is shared publicly) and save the webmap 5) Close and re-open the webmap - we get an Error: "The layer could not be loaded." From what we can see, all the layers appear to load successfully, but what is the cause of this error? We'd have thought we would be able to add publicly-shared content from AGOL no problem. Thanks for any help you can offer. Lindsay FYI Natalie Campos

Hello all, On AGOL, we have a hosted feature layer that contains information coming from Survey123 surveys submitted by volunteers in the field a webmap that includes that hosted feature layer, with its refresh interval set to 1 minute an #operations dashbord (using the webmap as a source) configured to show up-to-the-minute information from the hosted feature layer. We've noticed however, that when configuring widgets in the dashboard, we are seeing different values when configuring the widgets compared to what the widgets actually display in the dashboard. It looks to me like the values displayed during the configuration experience are correct, while the values that display when viewing the full dashboard are wrong. Here is an example. This indicator widget is simply meant to show the count of features from the hosted feature layer. At the time of writing this, the correct number of features is 74. Configuration experience: Live dashboard: Has anyone else run into this problem? I've confirmed that there is no filter set either in the webmap or in the indicator widget itself. It's unclear to me why there is this discrepancy in values. I've also seem similar behavior with serial chart widgets. Any assistance or insight is appreciated. Thanks, Lindsay

Hi Peter, Thank you for sharing this workaround. When I define the view using Set View Definition rather than Filter, it does appear to honor the filter when the view is exported to a CSV. This workaround will help us adhere to our privacy standards until BUG-000126527 is resolved; I appreciate your response and help. Regards, Lindsay

We have a Survey123 form configured to calculate an age, and then based off the calculated age, indicate which paperwork form applies. This "form_51505585" field is should be automatically completed based on the calculated age, and should be read only so that it cannot be changed. Here is how it is currently configured. In testing, we discovered that the field behaves as expected in Chrome and Firefox. However, in Internet Explorer 11, it is possible to click on the other answer, which un-selects the correct answer, at which point it is no longer possible to select either answer. Internet Explorer 11 is the default browser on a lot of our customers' machines, so are there any suggestions for how we can make it impossible for the users to change the response to this question? Thank you.

We have a number of hosted view layers on ArcGIS Online that were created to only include filtered versions of their source datasets. In some cases these filters were applied to better manage the data, and in others, we use a view layer because we do not want the user to have access to all of the records in the source hosted feature layer for privacy reasons. However, we've discovered that when we use the Export Data > Export to CSV File option on a hosted view layer, all of the records are included in the resulting CSV, not just the records that are included in the view. This behavior is not at all what I would have expected, and puts us at risk of making records available to users who should not have access. Is this by design? I would have expected an export from a hosted view to only include the records and attributes defined by the view. Thanks, Lindsay

We are also running into this problem in our organization. We have a public-facing app that includes polygons representing flood control right-of-ways, but when the map is printed using the print widget (which uses AGOL's print service), the polygon layer does not display on the resulting PDF. The layer is coming from a 10.3 GIS Server: HasZ = false, HasM = false, Default Visibility = true. We've tried adding the map service to the map in addition to the feature service, as well as turning on visibility for all layers before initiating the print, but nothing we've done so far has resulted in the layer displaying in the print widget's output. Any suggestions? Thanks, Lindsay

Xander, Do you know if using these codes will be possible in AGOL in the future? I am currently using an arcade expression in a webmap popup configuration to return a number of fields from a related table based on this post, and I would like to be able to format (bold, in this case) the values from one of the returned fields. Since there are multiple fields being returned, I am not aware of a way to style it using custom HTML in a way that would only apply to one of the fields. Thanks, Lindsay

We have a new issue that we just started seeing this morning. We have staff using iPads in the field to conduct inspections. They use Collector for ArcGIS to locate a parcel on the map, and then from the parcel's pop-up, they tap a link which launches Survey123, then they fill in information about the inspection in Survey123. In the past, if the survey was not already present on the device, Survey123 would automatically download it and the staff could seamlessly continue with their work. Starting this morning, we are noticing that if the survey is not already on the device, when the Survey123 field app is launched from Collector, it "hangs" on downloading the survey. I can reproduce this behavior with version 3.5.176 on both the iPad and an Android device. We did not have this problem with a previous version (e.g. 3.5.164). Did this functionality break in version 3.5.176?

Hi Craig, We suspected as much, but wanted to ask just in case. Thank you for your response. We're eager to take Tracker for a spin with ArcGIS Online once it's available. Regards, Lindsay

Hi Kylie, Is it possible to capture the locations of field workers while they are offline, and have that location information "sync" back to the project when they reconnect? We have field workers using Collector for ArcGIS (not Classic) on iOS devices, and we've learned that the classic location tracking option does not work in this version of Collector. I understand that the functionality is coming in the Tracker for ArcGIS app, but we need something in the interim until Tracker supports working against ArcGIS Online. Our field workers are about to head into the mountains where they will have limited or no connectivity, and we're hoping there is some way to still capture their location. Thanks, Lindsay
