Craig, I'm guessing that maybe when the script crashed on you it didn't delete the temp.xml file. You can check the file location that you chose when you ran the script, if the temp.xml is in there delete it and try to run the script again. Also, if you're running the script on data that has updates, deletes, and new points then it might have problems trying to read "duplicate" features during the import. Try to write these to different FGDBs and then manually open them in ArcMap to find the duplicates and delete/add/update them using editor. I'm not sure this will help you. If you dig into the device folders you might find another .geodatabase called client_delta_######.geodatabase. This might actually contain your adds and deletes? We just imported one that we had and it has a feature called T_1_inserts, and a table named the same. Since we didn't actually update or delete any points collected that day I can't tell you if it would have other features for updates and deletes.

Thanks to this forum we've been able to capture data that I feared was lost. I hope this problem gets resolved but in the meantime RussRoberts and JGun had posted code that worked for us. So, we took that code and tweaked it a little to work from a toolbox and model/task. If you unzip the attached file you should be able to open the toolbox and run the model/task. There are 3 variables; input, output, and temp location. You might have to right click on the script and set the source, but it should be set to read from relative paths and not give an error.

Using a little SQL in your expression might help to shorten it, but I can't be certain that it will work. Using the IN statement will eliminate the need to write so many elementsoort = "***" statements. The trick with the IN statement is making sure a text element is enclosed in quotes or apostrophes and separated by a comma. Using the IN with a numeric field does not require quotes or apostrophes, but does require a comma separator. IIF([elementsoort] IN ("hsA", â??hwA", â??esAâ?, â??esBâ?, â??hboAâ?), ("eindkap " & [jaar_grote_ingreep]), IIF([elementsoort] IN ("hsB", â??hwB", â??hboBâ?), ("afzetten " & [jaar_grote_ingreep]), IIF([elementsoort] = â??dbâ?, (â??schonenâ? & [jaar_grote_ingreep]), "jaarlijks" ) ) )

Still having ArcScene problems with rasters and display. 2 different machines: Dell T5500 6GB memory with NVIDIA Quadro FX4800 Driver: 9.18.13.1106 Dell M6500 8GB memory with NVIDIA Quadro FX3800M Driver: 8.16.11.8843 Both of these machines should laugh at 3D like it's the easiest thing to handle. ArcScene....what gives? Rendering elevation DEMs should be easily handled on either of these machines, but neither are very successful... iamidaho you aren't the only one! UPDATE: It seems that most of my frustration is coming from pulling a DEM out of SDE (SQL Server). If I run ArcScene using a file geodatabase with DEMs in it ArcScene is responding well....at least for a pilot area. Will update again when trying full county area (700 sq mi).

I'm having the same problems with this error. I'm trying to publish to ArcGIS Online, using 10.2. I've changed the staging folder, etc.

@ciava.at: My web adaptor is not using the default arcgis. I'm running 10.2 and I'm still having issues with intermittent access via tokens. More specifically I have an app using jscript to a secure service. This service is hit and miss with the app sometimes working for days and then it unexpectedly fails to draw the service. Looking into the app shows a 403 error but there is no reason for this to fail (the user does have permission and a valid token). Is there any way to refresh or restart the token services independent of completely restarting ArcGIS Server?

For what it's worth... I upgraded from 10.1 SP1 to 10.2 and had issues with my services and web apps. The services seemed to time out and crash. I used ESRI Chat with an analyst and learned that my install looked very different than his. Specifically, I was missing a few of the new GP services under the utilities. My solution was to uninstall 10.2 and then reinstall it. I had to rebuild the site but after pointing my service folders to the old location everything came back. HOWEVER, I will say that it seems 10.2 cached services (tiled services) display slower than 10.1. And I did install the patch already. Good luck to your upgrades. Anyone else with slow caches please chime in...ESRI needs to know if it's a problem.

Is there an update to ArcGIS Diagrammer for 10.2? This is a great tool, I hope it continues to follow ArcGIS updates.

Nothing is changed. I'm starting with a simple building polygon and extruding it. I'm using the GP tool, 3D Analyst Tools/Conversion/Layer 3D to Feature Class. My units are all the same and I've tried using a) only the feature in ArcScene by itself and b) with a DEM source and baseheight/extrusion based on that. In both cases the results are: a) a flat multi patch, b) the wedge as shown in the image. CityEngine is not an option since I don't have a license for that. I'm using 10.1 SP1, Win7 64B OS.

Is it possible to edit a multipatch height by a setting value? I've exported a 2d extruded layer to multipatch but the extruded value is not coming across. For example: I have a building over a sloped DEM. The extrude setting was set to +75' add to max height (or min height, both work for extruding). However when I get the resulting multipatch it comes as a wedge from the dem to a height, but not the height expected. Have a look @ the screen shot: Transparent green is extruded 2D using baseheight from DEM and +75' from max height. Black wedge is resulting multipatch. Am I missing some settings? Can I edit the resulting multipatch and pull it to the correct height? [ATTACH=CONFIG]26384[/ATTACH]

@Mike I think a custom built geocoder can use alternate name tables if you include it in the design. You should be able to find information about building geocoders in help documentation.

This link to FHWA road classification might help you. I too am working to classify our road features for use in the LGIM. http://www.fhwa.dot.gov/planning/processes/statewide/related/functional_classification/fc02.cfm Has anyone found an ESRI style set for MTFCC codes? That would be helpful.

I'm using AGIS Server 10.1 SP1 on Windows 2008R2, SQL as the user store, GIS Server as the Authentication level, and the WebAdaptor unsing IIS. I have a folder secured and others that are not. The secured folder requires Token authentication for a service used in a javascript app with a long lived token, and using authentication makes the service visible in the REST endpoints. This works fine most of the time. However I have had problems with the Token Service occasionally failing or stopping. This results in the web application failing to authenticate and does not draw the map, but it does not kill the application. When this happens logging into the REST site also fails to authenticate and will not provide access to or even display the secured folder but it appears that the login works. Is anyone else having problems with the Token Service stopping or failing? My only solution at this time is to either restart the ArcGIS Server using ArcGIS Server Manager, or physically restarting the machine. Recycling the WebAdaptor app pool in IIS does not clear this. Open services (those that are not secured) do not seem to be effected--they remain visible and the apps using them work fine. Any ideas or shared experiences with this are greatly appreciated!
