The same as ArcGIS Pro on a windows machine can connect to a GPS and show location and log tracks, add the same support to ArcGIS Earth desktop. Connect to a GPS (some Windows tablets has a built in GPS) and log the tracks.
You can calculate a route but you can't see yourself along this route. You can't see your own location.

It would be great if ArcGIS Earth desktop could accept a live feed from an external GPS using the NMEA protocol. In our organization we are trying to replace Google Earth with ArcGIS Earth and this is often a sticking point with users.
