Hi cbfollettdepaul‌, dlaw-esristaff‌ We have the same issue ... I guess that once federated you can no longer share services via the ArcServer Manager. The sharing icon should be removed from the ArcServer Manager and / or the error message changed to reflect sharing now needs to be made via Portal.

G'day Scott Prindle‌ The helicopter follows the fire edge and the operator has a GPS linked to a mapping app. The 'type' of the fire edge changes as they follow the boundary. It takes too long to save and change the edge type. A picture may help, please see attached. There are other issues related to Collector use in a helicopter (or anything moving faster than walking) and I think other ideas have them covered. Thanks

What if you make the sharing changes to the federated items in Portal?

We use helicopters to map the edge of bush fires. We would like to be able to fly / stream a single line with the operator changing the line subtype; ie active edge, contained edge, backburn etc. At the moment the operator needs to save the current line, change line type, and continue mapping. The time taken to save and switch line types currently makes the use of Collector virtually impracticable. Thanks

Just to clarify our use case ... we would want to keep streaming the line and simultaneously add a point. Most of this type of collection for us is done in helicopters which aren't keen on pausing.

The User-Agent sent for the current Android version is Mozilla/5.0. Can this please be changed to reflect the other mobile apps / iOS version where Survey123 appears in the UserAgent. Thanks!

Hi dlaw-esristaff‌ Thanks for the prompt reply. My short answer would be that I was looking for the table in the first link, with an additional column for the Data Store. A longer answer is that we do a bit of everything. We are starting (to try, in spare time) to look at system performance and an initial suggestion has been to move read only* data sets from the enterprise geodatabase to application specific file geodatabases. Or maybe make more tiles caches or vector tile caches. Or maybe more RAM. Ultimately will probably just have to time how the different options perform and then factor in the over heads for keeping everything up to date. Ideally some profiling before making structural changes. *these bases datasets are updated at least weekly Thanks again

Is there any documentation covering the pros and cons of using the above as a data source or rules of thumb when what source provides the best performance (and as a bonus factoring in 'cost' of maintaining data)? Thanks
