In another post, I read 2 web adaptor is required when using portal accounts using SSO. This will be the case. So, I guess I have to install two separate Web Adaptors. Why does SSO portal logins require its own web adaptor?

Hi, I am installing a single-machine deployment of ArcGIS Enterprise 10.8.1. I am trying to figure out why you want to install separate web adaptors one for Portal and one for arcgis. I started off with installing the web Adaptor for ArcGIS Server. I named it arcgis: Then after setting up the IIS, I re-opened the web adaptor application and configured it for Portal: As a result Portal is accessed through: domain.host.com/arcgis/home or domain.host.com/arcgis/portaladmin/ ArcGIS Server is accessed through domain.host.com/arcgis/manager or domain.host.com/arcgis/rest/services In the documentation I saw it is usual to install two separate web adaptors so that portal is accessed through domain.host.com/portal/home and ArcGIS Server through domain.host.com/arcgis/manager. In IIS I have configured the domain.host.com certificate to use the 443 port. ArcGIS Server is accessible through the 6443 port and Portal through the 7443 port. Why or do you want to install two separate web adaptors and when would the setup as shown in this post be sufficient? best, Jelle Stuurman

I thought as well that I was looking in the wrong place. When I came across this issue, the new map viewer was still in Beta. I thought this would get ‘fixed’ when out of Beta, but that does not look like it. Hopefully in an update in the near future. Check out my post for some thoughts on this and a workaround is suggested.

You are nearly there. I think your issue is that you have two return statements. The output of your arcade script in ArcGIS Dashboard can only return one value/object. You need to just have one return statement that combines both. Save the desired Hexadecimal as a variable and return it at the end through the backgroundColor key. if ($datapoint.ACCESS == 1){
var my_color = '#BED7EA',
} else if ($datapoint.ACCESS == 2){
var my_color = '#DDBDDE',
} else if ($datapoint.ACCESS == 3){
...
}
var acres = iif($datapoint.RSIZE<0, 'size not reported', Text(Round(Number($datapoint.RSIZE),1),"#,###.#"));
return{
backgroundColor: my_color,
attributes: {
realacres: acres
}
}

Not really. Except the the latest AGOL update included the feature to schedule Jupiter notebooks scripts within AGOL. Not completely what is discussed here, but I think a workable solution to achieve the same.

I don’t think you can access a survey123 with a public account. You need to have a subscription account in order to access your survey. Unless if your survey is completely accessible to the public. Then no account should be required at all and your survey will be accessible through the app.

Google has changed some settings last night. I no longer have the issue anymore. No update was needed. I have heard from others that they also don't have the issue anymore.

Technical Details of the issue are explained here in a Chrome bug report/thread. It turned to be an experiment regarding the mouse down and mouse drag events. Due to the many reported issues, they will stop with this experiment. It is mentioned that the issue will be fixed by the end of this week. No update of the Chrome browser will be required.

Have you tried recreating the component? When the dashboard beta moved from beta version 1 to beta version 2, this worked for me.

Be aware that is may still vary per user. The issue is also depended on the screen resolution.

When using ArcGIS Enterptise, I think the fix needs to be (also) a different one. I think that is what Shelley indicated here above.

I would use a python a script by setting the expression type to python. Expression: reclass(!DIM!,!YEAR!,!MATERIAL!): code block: def reclass(dim, year, material):
if dim <= 100 and year <= 1959 and material in ("SJG", "SJ"):
return 5

Not that I am aware of. A workaround could be to add a field in Pro that defines if features holds your sql query or not. And then in your we map you can filter based on that field. This does require a regular extra analysis of your feature class if it regularly gets updated.

Issue has been identified by ESRI last week. It has to do with JavaScript API 3.30 or lower in combination with Google Chrome 89. Issue started to occur after a Google Chrome update. it varies per user and screen resolution settings if you get the issue. Also see this post posted lasted week. Workaround for now is to update the JavaScript API to 3.31 if possible.
