In the new Map Viewer Beta I would like to have the ability to toggle only one sub-layer within a group layer. I noticed this already has been implemented in the scene viewer. Eg. Group layer - sublayer 1 - sublayer 2 Now user can turn on or off the group layer or turn on/off sublayer 1 or sublayer 2 individually. I would like the setting so that the user is restricted to only select sublayer 1 or sublayer 2 (when the group layer is turned on). In JavaScript terms, this would be showing the sublayers as radio buttons instead of checkboxes. best, Jelle

I have a field that is always relevant but which I would like to hide (through 'hidden' in the appearance column) under certain conditions. Is that also possible to achieve?

I have configured a configurable app in ArcGIS Online using the new Minimalist web app. I have configured a search layer that is able to search on names. When a name is found, the features shows as a suggestion under the search box. So far, everything works as expected. When clicking on the search result in the desktop viewer or landscape mobile viewer, the popup opens immediately (first image below). When tapping on the search result in the mobile viewer (portrait mode), the popup only shows the header of the popup (2nd image below). Can this be fixed so that the popup opens when tapping on a search result? I have to perform an additional tap to open the pop-up. This is a small task but makes a huge difference in end user experience. It's not always self-explanatory that you can tap on the header of the pop-up to see extra information. desktop and landscape mobile viewer portrait mobile viewer best, Jelle Stuurman

Hi Xander, This is exactly what I am looking for. Dynamically update the values of a field through calculate field so that the associated symbology can be changed. Your comment is now 2 years ago. Any update regarding this idea? best, Jelle Stuurman

I think there was an issue with the group. I was not even able to add members to the group in ArcGIS Online. After deleting the group and recreating it, things worked as expected both in ArcGIS Online and Survey123.

Hi Ismael, Thank you for getting back. Your comments make sense. Except that the group which I don't see in Survey123, is a group that I am owner of. Also it is set that all group members can contribute. I am admin and have maximum user type rights in ArcGIS Online. I am also owner and author of the survey. Am I missing something?

Hi, When I want to edit my collaboration settings for an survery123 using ArcGIS Online, the list of groups shown in the 'share survey' and 'share results' tab do not coincide with my groups shown in my ArcGIS Online 'groups' page. I came across this issue when creating both a web survey123 and a XLSForm survey123. If I change the share settings of the form and feature service regarding the survey123 in ArcGIS Online itself, I ca no longer update the survey anymore using Survey123 Connector. I believe that is because my survey123 account does not see the right groups in which the content is shared in. I am administrator and therefore can see all the groups present within the organisation. That shouldn't be the issue. I am using the latest 3.11.124 Survey123 connector app for Windows. Anyone have any idea what is going wrong? best, Jelle

Hi Sandeep, Great! This solved my issue. Thanks for the help. I might have missed it, but I did not find this solution somewhere in the documentation when setting up a new python environment through ArcGIS. Maybe an idea to emphasize it somewhere? I can imagine other people might have this issue as well. best, Jell Stuurman

Hi Sandeep, Well spotted and thank you for your suggestion. Running the workflow through the command prompt using the arcgispro-py3-clone environment works fine. So it does not work when I run jupyter notebook from the arcgispro-py3-clone environment using following command: (arcgispro-py3-clone) C:\Users\stuurman.j\AppData\Local\ESRI\conda\envs\arcgispr o-py3-clone>activate arcgispro-py3-clone (arcgispro-py3-clone) C:\Users\stuurman.j\AppData\Local\ESRI\conda\envs\arcgispr o-py3-clone>jupyter notebook jupyter notebook starts fine and I can also confirm that the directories shown on the notebook homepage (tree) are those from the arcgispro-py3-clone environment. This makes me believe that it is running the correct environment as python kernel. Do I need to change any jupyter notebook settings? Thanks, Jelle Stuurman

Hi Sandeep, Thanks for your reply and taking the time to look into my issue. That is exactly what I have done. I first created a clone in ArcGIS Pro. Activated it and installed the required libraries using the conda command you suggested. I still get the same issue that libraries are not installed, and yet they show in my list of installed libraries. import sys

I am successfully able to access the ArcGIS Server logs with a filter on map Services using a query through an url. Eg URL : https://map.domain.com/arcgis/admin/logs/query?startTime=2020-06-04T00:00:00&endTime=2020-06-04T23:59:59&level=WARNING&filterType=json&filter={'services': ['my_service'], 'resources':['rest']}&f=html The issue is that when applying this 'my_service'' filter, the logs from the 'Soap' and "Rest' target are not included. When removing the services filter from the query, some rest and soap logs are returned as expected. Is there a way to include 'Rest' and 'Soap' logs when applying a services filter through an URL? Including 'Rest' and/or 'Soap' in the filter does not work. I have also tried using the parameter 'resources': ['rest'] in the filter as suggested here, but this did not work. Anybody have any idea? Thanks in advance. best, Jelle Software: ArcGIS Enterprise with portal 10.5.1

I have the same issue when publishing dynamic services to ArcGIS Server using ArcMap 10.5.1. I get the same errors in the ArcGIS Server logs.: SEVERE 31 jan. 2020 19:54:47 Failed to rename cache folder. SEVERE 31 jan. 2020 19:53:46 Method failed.HRESULT = 0x80070057 : The parameter is incorrect. . SEVERE 31 jan. 2020 19:53:46 Method failed.HRESULT = 0x80070057 : The parameter is incorrect. . On the map (In Geocortex Essentials) the symology is not showed on others people's account but when clicking the pop-ups do show up, meaning that the data is loaded. The issue thus lies with the symbology. The symbology is shown through my account which indicates something is wrong with the sharing settings of the directory where the symbology is stored, as suggested above. I have come to the observation that it happens when my symbology in the ArcMap document is not simple line/fill but complex symbology (such as cartographic line symbology). Replacing this to simple line/fill symbology resolves the issue. It's a workaround but not a solution to the problem. Somehow this symbology definition is not written properly in the ArcGIS Server directories so that everyone has access. This while other dynamic layers are published successfully in the exact same directory but without complex symbology. Anyone any idea or update what is going on and how this can be fixed?
